Congratz to Barca. The 3rd goal was a real beauty, even I screamed 'sublime' on that. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed of course. United did well throughout the 1st half with the exception of Valencia being out of his play.

The downfall of United came by his own late reaction after Messi's goal and that led to a Catalan's domination and consequently, they scored. They were completely not anticipating Messi's goal but nevertheless, they should have reacted but the damage was done psychologically. That's the only regret...

Of course, it was over after the 3rd goal and despite a slightly better display and the slight exaggeration over some fouls of Barca, Barcelona won it almost fairly.

By far one of the best game I've seen in a long time and Barcelona proved why they are the greatest in this game. They now have 3 UEFA CL cups in 5 yrs stunning and now they also hold an undefeated record at Wembley as they won 2 CL finals their.

I'd say Man U had me thinking so much as the first 10 mins they were dominating the game, after that their mistake was letting Barcelona get into formation and from their Barcelona scored but Man U responded back and still played well in the first half.

In the start of second and than throughout it was all Barcelona, Villa goal I'd have to say made Van (Man U GK) look like a fool which was well down by Villa but Man U defense gave up and Messi played really good had many chances and created many, Man U robbed him a few times but not good enough when your playing with supposedly said by many as the worlds greatest.

As to go by calls I've caught Sergio B acted once or twice that game which I don't think a card was handed out but the rest were fine with me and Sergio B is not one of my favs to be honest thats why I cant wait for Fabragas to sign and hopefully take his place. He hasn't really lived up to be the starting 11 in my opinion has come thru with some good plays and defensively (Set up Villa goal a long with Messi and Xavi) but Fabragas would be a better midfield/striker wise and it would increase Barcelona attacking.

At the end Barcelona came up with one of their greatest game and a classic football experience

Congratz....Barcelona indeed play very well. Actually, one thing is that I've never considered Wembley as lucky in some of these years. If you look back at it, we lost the Cup's Semi-Final (1-0) after a subdued performance in the 2nd half and again, we messed up in the 2nd half in this CL Final and again, we've lost a title.

Manchester's 10 minutes were excellent but they let the pressing down a bit, I think, as they were afraid of a counter-attacking goal if they attacked too much; just like 2009. So, they more or less counter Barca, and even if they conceded a goal, United did responded back. If you look closely, the 2 serious occasion that United conceded in the 1st half were all due to lack of zonal marking which they did efficiently in the 1st half except with the 1st goal.

Well, Vidic, Ferdinand and Van Der Sar did what they could to stop some offensives but after they were caught inadvertently by Messi's scoring shot, they did not react. I though that they will try to place some attacks/counters on the wings or atleast try pressure more Barca's defense but they kept defending with their zonal marking. If United did react after Messi's goal, the end might have been different. Unfortunately, the lack of reactivity were too much against a top-formed Barca and the downfall was inevitable after the 20 minutes of hellish domination that they endured. Villa's goal is a real beauty.

We've already talked on this topic of Busquets and refereeing but the refereee was more or less correct. It's just sad (according to me) that when your team is delivering such a wonderful performance, you (I mean, Busquets and Iniesta once) need to spoil it with these simulations. They never needed these kind of things to win it in these match.

All-in-all, Barcelona deserved their victory. United could have done something if they react after the surprising 2nd goal (either by increasing some attacks/counter-attacks or pressure/intensity). They didn't and thus, there can only be regrets on this part.

Final thoughts: Nail-biting 1st half for me and regrets for the 2nd half. Nevertheless, a nice final.

I said it before, and I said it again.. No club in the world can match barcelona, this team right now is in another different level, there is no club, or not even any international team that could top this barcelona, I hope you all know bealive me that this fc barcelona is the best team in all fotballs history.. I mean which team has the privilage to make a top team like man untd seem that weak.. Because lets face it, this game was very one sided, man untd didnt do anything except that goal, not even one of my fav players, chicharito coudnt do a thing, nothing, a team as great as man untd got exhibited.. Barcelona could have scored more goals, but they didnt want to humiliate united in the last minutes, unlike madrid that has a scorefest with the small teams, only with the small teams, lol
