[Major Theory] Kaguya is the Juubi

I'm iffy about this theory, however I certainly do like it. I definitely prefer it to the Shiki Fuujin theory (that one makes her totally irrelevant)
I really hope that Kaguya or the Juubi become the real final villain.

Only problem I have is he already admitted the Juubi was the God Tree's incarnation, and it struggled to get the Chakra that was stolen from it.

Both of which imply it is an entity separate from Kaguya.

The Juubi could have incarnated into Kaguya after she consumed the fruit. The gedo mazou is the shell of the Juubi and possesses a human-like form which would support my theory that Kaguya was eventually morphed into it.

We see Obito struggling for control over his body when he became jinchuriki, and Kaguya could have been overwhelmed.


Think about it, Hagoromo stated that when all chakra becomes one, a fruit is born. All of the God Tree's chakra is stored in the fruit and Kaguya ate that fruit, gaining all of Shinji's chakra.

Shinji can't survive without chakra, which evidently means that it can't create that Juubi(something powerful enough to destroy continents) after Kaguya consumed all of its chakra.



It's also a big coincidence that Kaguya possesses the complete sharingan on her forehead just like the Juubi and Hagoromo stated that she used it's genjutsu and enslaved people with Shinji's roots.

How could she do that if she wasn't the juubi/shinji reborn?

This is highly accurate. I'd be mighty surprised if the Juubi doesn't turn out to be Kaguya herself and the Dead Demon, her spirit form, angry and forever carrying souls, exerting power over them and compelling them to fight eternally within her belly. I think, it's about time Kishimoto blew the lid on this one. Too much mystique ruins things.

That is the only part of Lightbringer's analysis that's incomplete. The way I see it, Kaguya IS the Dead Demon. The Sage calling his mother a demon in life and the seal from an Uzumaki who might very well turn out to be her son - the protoplast of this Clan - sealing it, to atone for her sins, as he said.

Well Hagoromo did say he created a special seal for the Juubi. Perhaps the seal was to separate Kaguya's spirit from her possessed body. It would explain why she's the Shiki Fujin.

It might also explain how Hagoromo's brother died. Hagoromo sealed the Juubi chakra whilst the brother sealed the spirit of his mother, killing him in the process or something.

We have to remember that the Shinju is a tree. When trees aim to reproduce, they create seeds. One method of doing so is by Fruits. Attracted to the fruit. Animals will consume the fruit. In doing so the seeds will fall to the ground or get stuck in the fur/hide of an animal and ultimately be carried until they fall. Effectively spreading the seed. A tree doesn't put its life into a fruit. A fruit is made as a part of it.

Also, I do not think it was confirmed the entirety of the Juubi's chakra lived within the fruit. Hagoromo says simply that its fruit is made of charka.

He also said that the Juubi moved to take back the Chakra that was stolen from it. Kaguya was the one who stole the fruit.... so she can't be trying to steal it back.

Finally, the scan also suggests she was a separate entity. The Juubi itself has never been shown to try and cast the Infinite Tsukiomi. People have been using their power on IT. Furthermore, The people were being amassed in order to create a new fruit. Assuming Kaguya was the one pulling the strings (which Hagoromo suggests), then she's merely trying to make another fruit for herself to use.

because Shinji slowly took over Kaguya's body after eating the fruit and transformed her into the Juubi as punishment to get back all chakra.

Hagoromo said that she was the strongest. It took Hagoromo and his brother to defeat the Juubi which means that the Juubi was also stronger than Hagoromo on his own.

Kaguya has the same sharingan on her forehead as the Juubi. Kaguya was stated to become feared like a demon and if where was she when the Juubi attacked if she was not the Juubi itself? Surely someone as powerful as her wouldn't let death of old age get in the way of maintaining power.

I said the God Tree creates the fruit which contains the total sum of chakra within it. When that fruit is created, the Tree begins to die and the fruit is the seed for the new tree to be reborn.

Before the fruit could be reborn into Shinji, Kaguya ate it and gained all of the Tree's chakra. The Old Tree dies.

Kaguya does what she does, but eventually the chakra begins to slowly encompass her will and morph her into the new Tree. The Tree gets angry that someone ate the fruit and gave out it's chakra and then becomes the Juubi with Kaguya(Gedo Mazou) as the shell
