So in the recent chapters it was stated that Kaguya was considered the strongest and that she was also a tyrant that ruled the world with her power and feared like a demon.
If that's the case, then how did she die? If she was the strongest, then immortality wouldn't be out of the question for her. And if she is that strong, wouldn't she also have the power to reincarnate as well?
It was shown that she possessed the Juubi's sharingan and used it the same way Madara is planning on using. By enslaving people with genjutsu. She is the only other being we know of that possesses this complete sharingan after eating the fruit.
It was said that when Shinji became angry, it sent out the Juubi to retrieve it's chakra. This happened only after Kaguya ate the fruit and again happened only after eating the fruit.
The question here is, if Kaguya was so strong, why couldn't she stop the Juubi instead of her sons?
The Juubi was stated to have foul chakra as well and terrorized the world.
Kaguya possesses the complete sharingan, was feared like a demon, and tried to enslave the world.
Kaguya was the Juubi! She ate the fruit, and the fruit eventually transformed her into the juubi.
Which also explain how she was defeated. She is the most powerful being there is, more powerful than Hogoromo, but not with the combined strength of her sons.
The Gedo Mazou is the Shell of the Juubi and it has a human form. The human form could be Kaguya when she started to transform into a "demon"
Hagoromo also stated that when all chakra becomes one, a fruit is born. All of the God Tree's chakra is stored in the fruit and Kaguya ate that fruit, gaining all of Shinji's chakra.
Shinji can't survive without chakra, which evidently means that it can't create that Juubi(something powerful enough to destroy continents) after Kaguya consumed all of its chakra.
Lastly, here it states that the Juubi was the incarnation of Shinji.......meaning it's not the original tree, but just a part of it.
It also says that the sons fought the Juubi to repent for her mother's sins. Her sin was becoming the Juubi and terrorizing the world, making Hogoromo feel responsible.
