Also have you thought that the Shinigami could be Hagoromo's brother and not Kaguya? They both have the same robe and hair. Also the Shinigami's horns are different from Kaguya, doesn't have the clipped eyebrows, looks like a guys, and doesn't have the third eye on it's forehead.

It just doesn't make sense that Kaguya would be the Shiki Fuujin

To be honest , i feel rather conflicted about your theory .

Kayuga can't possibly be the Juubi itself so because she resembles the Death Reaper .

Secondly , this scan completely erases your theory , despite the good effort you've put in , you have missed this vital part where the God tree got mad at her for stealing it's chakra and wanted to get it back ,thus the juubi was born.

well like I said in my previous comment. The Shinigami's horns look different, doesn't possess the third eye on its forehead, and looks like a guy.

Hagoromo's brother has the same hair, robes, and also possesses horns. It's possible that he's the Shiki Fujin and not Kaguya




As for that scan. If Shinji possessed Kaguya, wouldn't the outcome be the same? She'd turn into the Juubi and try to take back chakra from man, terrorizing the world as punishment for stealing it's chakra.


There is only one fruit every millenium and no one has ever eaten it. So how come there's always one, unless if it is a way for the Tree to continue its lifespan?

The Tree dies, bears the fruit, the fruit then proceeds to become the new Tree. Kaguya ate the fruit, but the Tree bloomed within her.

Kaguya gained the complete sharingan on her forehead after eating the fruit, and the Juubi is the only other being that possesses it. Also how come the original tree looks different from the current one?

which has a similar appearance to it's shell . What i believe from the manga is that the current Juubi is still incomplete.

Isn't is odd for Kishi to skip the Hagoromo brothers versus the Juubi . He instead gave us a short glimpse of it . That still bothers me a little bit .

The fruit chakra survives, not the fruit. The chakra would corrupt Kaguya.

All chakra that ever existed was within the fruit. Kaguya obtained the total sum of it.

We also see something similar with Obito where he was fighting for control over his body when he became jinchuriki.

The only other good theory besides the Shinigami one I heard till now about what happened to Kaguya. She was the most powerful being of that time period so the idea that she just died of old age seems really implausible.

So she is either the Reaper or the Jubi. Both theories have valid points and some things which speak against them, currently I can accept both as equal valid.

I'm iffy about this theory, however I certainly do like it. I definitely prefer it to the Shiki Fuujin theory (that one makes her totally irrelevant)
I really hope that Kaguya or the Juubi become the real final villain.

Only problem I have is he already admitted the Juubi was the God Tree's incarnation, and it struggled to get the Chakra that was stolen from it.
