Aren't those the mokuton clones... 10% of his actual power, lol. Regardless of the explosion covering the rest of the susanoo, the swords took the brunt of the attack. Meaning they took most of the force.

Lets use another analogy. If a boulder is thrown at your body, but you block it with your arm. Your arm is taking most of the force, that does not mean your body won't be hit with the boulder, it's just the arm took away most of the force. Same principle.

Doesn't matter. The Susanoo is still the same, the material didn't change so them being clones are not doesn't matter. TBB's real destructive power lies in the explosion not the ball hitting someone so you saying that they took the brunt of the attack is obviously false. The explosion is what decimates Mountains not the ball hitting the mountain.

Your analogy doesn't apply here since the boulder doesn't explode meaning its real destructive power lies in the boulder hitting the person.

If someone throws a boulder sized bomb at you and you block it with your arm and then it hits your body. It absorbed the force of the bomb hitting you but then it explodes. Tell me, what causes more damage, an explosion of a bomb or the bomb itself hitting you? Don't bother answering as the answer is obvious.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Madara didn't swing his swords so they didn't have mountain destroying force in them when he blocked the TBB. Last time I checked you needed to swing a sword before it had any destructive capability.

Madara's Susanoo tanked a TBB. Nothing more to it.

Take a look again at the scan.

Look at the top of the swords, you can see where kishi drew the movement of the swords. The swords don't suto-spawn in that position when Susanoo is summoned...

Wait.. What? Since when we are comparing human body with Susanoo ? Dude Susanoo is an ARMOUR, Swords are WEAPONS. By your logic it's better to deffend with SWORDS than ARMOUR right ? Perfect Susanoo can tank a TBB no problem, and realize this it was a FULL KYUUBI TBB, it is twice stronger than a TBB that blocked a TBB created by 7 Bijuus, so you can say that TBB Hashirama redirected to Madaras Susanoo, was about 20 Bijuu strong TBB.

Where do you get that logic(@bolded)? Anyway, I'm using an analogy, there's obviously going to be a slight difference. By my logic, it is better to defend with swords against certain things, rather than your armor. As Madara clearly did... He would not have put the swords there for no reason.

To make this clear those are not the same swords as the perfect susanoo look at the shape they look like regular susannoos so perfect susanoo would defiantly tank if regular does.

Rofl. Those aren't movement marks, you can clearly see the Susanoo spawning in the upper left panel so yes they did spawn in front of the Susanoo. Those marks go all around the center of impact, which is where the Bijuu Dama hit Susanoo.

@bold: Who told you this? Susanoo users can spawn Susanoo however they want to as it is a manifestation of their chakra.

Can you actually look at the scans... You can clearly see the TBB exploding, as it hits the swords. Though, you are right about the boulder analogy. Reading my posts and actually looking at scans should make you realize what I'm saying easily.

That wasn't a full TBB... That TBB was the size of a Giant Rasengan and probably had the power of one too. So he blocked a weak TBB. I dare him to try and tank a full TBB from the Nine Tails head on. You already know what kinds of TBB's BM Naruto could make. Now compare that to what the actual Nine Tails could do.

Can you actually look at the scans? If you could we wouldn't be having this discussion. The explosion covered the whole Susanoo obviously it is going to hit the swords as well. The swords didn't take most of the explosion either as the whole thing was enveloped. That's like saying a person wearing armor who blocks a bomb with his swords, then causing the bomb to explode, blocked the brunt of the explosion when the explosion covers his whole body and his swords don't.

First, you can see suasonoo being summoned from the front, but where are the swords... Exactly. Now, as I said, look at the TIP of the blades. You can clearly see the movement marks. Then besides the obvious I didn't want to point out. The swords are bending... Why would his swords be bending. You might say, the tbb is making it do so. But look at the top, the blades bend again. The swords are clearly in movement.

And now we arrive back, in full circle, at my original argument. The SWORDS took the brunt of the tbb. Thank you for proving me correct... -_-

Are you saying for example:

Lets say Sasuke's EMS Susanoo body can tank a TBB.

And since his body tanked it, can Sasuke's EMS Susanoo take the bolt from its crossbow and block a TBB with it as well?

Idk, kinda confused.

You know guys, he is making quite a bit of sense.

Ill try to give a better analogy.

If someone tosses a large bowling ball at you, and you have two swords and a thin layer of steel armor on, are you going to simply sit there and take the hit with only your armor and pray that it doesn't hurt you? Of course not. Your going to put as much stuff between you and the attacking object to lessen the impact, which includes the swords. Even if you dont have a sword, you will at least use your arms to shield yourself instead of just taking the hit and hoping you survive it.

So, whether people like to believe it or not, the swords did take a considerable brunt of the damage dealt so that the susanoo would shatter from the force/explosion.

So yea, you WILL want to counter an attack with your weapons and not just your body be it arms or swords. Otherwise what is the point of the weapons if only used for offense?

After all, the armor is supposed to just decrease the damage potential of an attack, not negate it completely

You may have been right about him moving the swords in place to block but sad to say you still make no sense at all. Him moving the swords in place to block the TBB isn't generating enough to force to cut a mountain.

This movement.

Does not generate force equal to this movement.

You obviously don't know what the brunt of TBB is if you think the swords too the brunt of the attack.,..

The brunt is the main force of the attack, the most destructive and that is clearly the explosion. The swords may have taken the force from the TBB hitting the actual Susanoo, but in no way did it take the explosion.

Susanoo is in the middle of its formation. Obviously the blades haven't formed yet.

If you're going to block an attack, are you going to slowly raise your arms? No, you are going to put them up as fast as humanly possible to protect yourself from the attack. so I would say that madara putting up his sword would generate enough force for him to cut a mountain like before, even though he isn't trying to and is only trying to protect himself.

You can clearly see the speed at which Madara swung his sword in the second panel to destroy that Mountain Range. Its physically impossible for him to generate the same amount of force by simply raising his swords in front of him to actually swinging them. Madara didn't even swing his sword when he put them up to protect himself, that alone is enough to show that they lack the same force.

What generates more force? Raising your swords in front of you or actually swinging it?

So swords not even perfect ones, the thinnest most fragile part of susanoo took TBB attack and had no damage, but susanoo will?

All this analogy shows is that the swords block the force from the impact of the ball. Not the explosion itself which is many times larger than the Armored Person/Susanoo as there is no way for the swords to absorb any impact from the explosion itself.
