Madara's Susanoo did not tank a TBB

Hey guys, lets try to keep this as a mature debate, whether or not you choose to believe me or not.

Alright first, the scan from the TBB hitting Madara:

When this chapter came out, most of us believed that Madara's Susanoo actually tanked a full on TBB. Carefully looking at the bottom panel of the picture above proves otherwise. You'll notice Madara's swords take the full brunt of the attack. Now these are the exact same swords that are said to have the ability to cut through a mountain in a single swipe. As seen here:

Now seeing that the swords took the full brunt of the attack, we may never know if a Susanoo can take a well placed TBB. :scorps:

Why does the sword function the same as a shield? If it was a shield, then it makes more sense. The only thing it did was it reduce the force Hashirama put in the attack. Susanoo did tank that TBB.

He even got the fox inside his susanoo to protect it from the TBB lol!!!!!!

Kurama was alive and healthy [Granted the bastard is immortal but it can die for a period of time but it didn't]

Now look carefully at the bottom of this panel, you'll see EMS Madara alive and healthy meaning he survived that attack and had no fatal or long-lasting injuries.

Meaning his Perfect Stabilized Susanoo saved them from Hashirama's Ultimate attack and the only attack that could top Hashirama's Shinsusenju is Juubi's beam but let's not consider it.

Are you implying that swords can't be used as a shield... Then there's the fact that the swords are beyond the abilities of an average pair of swords. They can cut through mountains... Their destructive power is at least on par with that of a TBB.

Susanoo itself does not have the same destructive power as the swords. The susanoo itself can't cut through a mountain but the swords can. When hitting the swords, the tbb exploded, meaning the destructive powers were matched. The Susanoo's defense itself did not tank the blast, the destructive power of the swords did.

But then again, one could say he didn't because it didn't actually come in contact with the "body" of the Susano'o.

I'll use an analogy to help some of you saying the body is the same as the sword.

If I hit you with a steel sword, you will be cut and potentially lose a limb.
If I hit you with my steel body armor, you will get a bruise.

It's really that simple.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Madara didn't swing his swords so they didn't have mountain destroying force in them when he blocked the TBB. Last time I checked you needed to swing a sword before it had any destructive capability.

Madara's Susanoo tanked a TBB. Nothing more to it.

Lets use another analogy. If a boulder is thrown at your body, but you block it with your arm. Your arm is taking most of the force, that does not mean your body won't be hit with the boulder, it's just the arm took away most of the force. Same principle.

Wait.. What? Since when we are comparing human body with Susanoo ? Dude Susanoo is an ARMOUR, Swords are WEAPONS. By your logic it's better to deffend with SWORDS than ARMOUR right ? Perfect Susanoo can tank a TBB no problem, and realize this it was a FULL KYUUBI TBB, it is twice stronger than a TBB that blocked a TBB created by 7 Bijuus, so you can say that TBB Hashirama redirected to Madaras Susanoo, was about 20 Bijuu strong TBB.
