Madara's sharingan was not needed to awaken Rinnegan.

Tell me where it's stated in the manga that you need EMS for Rinnegan.

And the eye isn't destroyed after Izanagi, it's just rendered blind and useless. It's still there in the socket.

Madara explained it to Obito before dying, obviously if the chakra was the only requirement then Obito would be able to get Rinnegan since he had a Sharingan+Ashura's Chakra through Hashi's DNA.

The only logical conclusion is you need EMS in addition as well.

The eye is still unusable and it's abilities are cut off, that's the same as destroyed by any definition.

No INDRA and ASHURA's chakra. That is why Obito couldnt awaken it. He had Ashura's chakra but not Indra.

Lel Obito didn't have Indra's chakra.

Destroyed means got crushed into dust but it wasn't. It was there, just with no light.

Its Uchiha and Senju DNA that awoke the Rinnegan, Senju + Uchiha DNA = Hagoromo DNA who had the Rinnegan.

Here ya go

I even bolded the right answer for you

I'm gonna repeat what others are saying to you, I'm not a parrot

Fallacy, since Indra inherited a weaker form of his father's Dojutsu. His Sharingan, and combine it with the . Madara supports it.

Many have questioned how Madara awakened Rinnegan when one of his sharingan's was gone due to izanagi.

Even blind Sharingan is still Sharingan. Madara had one right Sharingan and one blind Sharingan. Itachi had two blind Sharingans and was still able to use Susanoo. Sasuke was able to develop EMS even with two blind Sharingans from Itachi.

Should Madara have only one Rinnegan eye?

Going by this logic Sasuke shouldnt develop EMS simply becuase Obito transplantes two blind Sharingans into him. It just doesnt work that way.

Yeah but those eyes werent blind forever. They were just blind for that moment since Itachi used them so much.

Itachi would be blind forever unless he would transplant another MS into him. Madaras EMS would become blind forever unless he would gain some Senjuu power. Like I said - even blind Sharingan is still Sharingan, its that simple.

Yeah he should not develop them, because it is nonsense, but Kish make always this job.

No, they weren't blind. Itachi could see, but not very well. Not the same as blind.

A blind eye is nothing more than a blind eye, not a Sharingan. Especially when the light is lost as a cost for Izanagi. A blind eye literally has no Doryoku in it, no reason for anyone to believe or assert that its still a Sharingan.

Yeah, Kishi is often not making any sense, but n this case I have to fedend him. Like I said, even if Sharingan becomes blind its not some random blind eye, its still Sharingan, although very limited. Thats why Itachis blind MS developed into EMS and Madaras blind EMS developed into Rinnegan.

Oh you were talking about actual blindness of the eye. I was speaking of the blind eye not being able to show the tomoes like what happens with izanagi.

He was nearly blind, in both cases tomoes were completely lost. I dont see how that makes some big difference.

Itachis eyes had no tomoes when he was near to his death.

Blind and near Blind are completely different things. The loss of the tomoe doesn't change the fact that they weren't blind, meaning they were still Sharingan, meaning you have no point when you say Blind eyes are the same because they can be transplanted to get EMS. Its not blind, so it still counts as a Sharingan. Itachi didn't use any Sharingan techniques while blind either, as he wasn't blind. Eyes that have been sacrificed for Izanagi are blind. Blind Eye is a Blind Eye, not a Sharingan.

If you don't see the difference between near blind, and legitimately blind, then that's your problem.

I was not completely right, but you are wrong.

Itachi was nearly blind when he met Sasuke (at the beinning, when he was sitting on the chair). When he used Susanoo he became completely blind, his pupils were the same as Madaras when he used Izanagi. Sasuke wasnt completely blind with his MS (so his pupils were different), but he was very close to that state. ->

Lol, all this shows is that you can't read the manga. Read the whole and come back and tell me that Itachi was blind. Read as well. You'll sound foolish as his actions during this chapter show that HE CAN SEE. Anime showed this perfectly. Itachi's eyes were merely without the tomoe, leaving the red color. (Which is shown as white due to the fact that the manga has no coloring)

Sasuke wasn't blind either, he was in the same state Itachi was in. His Sharingan had a black background, so the tomoe vanished and it left him with a black colored eye. The funny thing is Itachi and Sasuke were in the same state, yet you are telling me one was blind while the other wasn't....lmfao.

Like I said, a blind eye is a blind eye. You have no point here.

Lol? I did read it, so there is nothing you have to remind me, but at the same time, I must tell you know very little about human body. Listen, even when a normal person becomes blind his other senses becomes more sharp. Waaay more sharp. A blind person will be able to hear something you wont be able to, he will be able to feel something you wont be able to. When a human brain loose one of its senses, its focuses more on the other ones - its that simple. Madara was completely blind when he was resurrected, but he was still able to kick some serious asses, so its not impossible for Itachi to do what he did in those chapters, even if he was completely blind.

Nope. Like I said, Itachis pupils were the same as Madaras.

Both were completely blind. Sasukes pupils were clearly different, and he was still able to see something. ->
