itachi is nowhere near madara. madara is a legend, itachi is always hiding in the shadow with his sick body.
madara was able to progress BEYOND sharingan and achieve what no uchiha achieved before upto now, which is RINNEGAN. compare to itachi that only progressed upto MS. heck even sasuke surpassed itachi now..
even if itachi is not sick and still leaving I don't think he'll be able to surpass madara coz itachi don't have lust for power, he wouldn't stole his brother's eye for the sake of having EMS. as all you fanboys are always saying, itachi is a "good guy" he has no intention to harm anyone.lol
this match is like a child's play for madara. end of discussion

The only way itachi could surpass madara is if he gets EMS and rinnegan. He will not become stronger than madara without gaining those two. And madara wasn't that old when he died, he seemed like he was middle-aged at most.
Compare madara's katon to itachi's and you can see that even without Rinnegan or EMS, their basic abilities are still far apart.

Obviously it wouldnt be wise for itachi to try and trade punches with madara because's his attacks are on a whole new level.

Meh I wouldn't say I was a fan boy but I'm just saying that Itachi can at least put up a fight against Madara for a while. I mean it's clear he would get beat... That's true I'll agree with you on that. XD

At the current situation i ll also say that madara is stromger but.....
Just imagine if itachi would have stolen the eyes of sasuke and gain ems and if he would be sick( i know some of you will now say '' but its not lake that...' but just think so ^^) he would surly surpass madara he would also definetly awake the rinnegan i mean he was only 13 whenn he awaked his MS just with training madara was in war figthing and training all the time and still he needed more time.... i also think that madara is pretty smart but I would say that itachi is al little bit smarter madaras ''only'' advdentage would be the expirience

I agree with everything but the part that u said about basic abilities lol
Itachi can take out Madara by Tsukuyomi just like Madara can take him out with big flying meteor lol.
(But wait i think that was Kabuto's messing with Madara's prime at that moment, let's not even put that meteor in this fight lol)

Madara can use Rinnegan to defeat every single Itachi technique
FireBall & Amaterasu > Preta path or Shinra Tensei
Tsukyomi > Broken by greater version of EMS ( Rinnegan )
Susanoo > Bansho Tenin Itachi out of Susanoo or Chibaku Tensei
Also don't forget the meteor ( we are yet to see what it does ) & EMS .
Madara wins.

Madara isn't "THAT" fast to dodge an Amaterasu or block it. He wouldn't have time to even react to such an fast Jutsu with his speed.
Rinnegan wouldn't save him from Tsukiyomi, since it's already stated what can counter ITACHI'S tsukiyomi.
Madara's related to Itachi right since their both an Uchiha? If so, then Madara can escape Tsukiyomi before he dies. An no counter for his Bansho tensin, except Amaterasu'ing him before he pulled out, or while he's being pulled out. But clearly Madara wins

2. rinnegan since it comes from sharingan aswell can possibly used against tsukuyomi.
3. amaterasu can simply be absorb or shinra tensei'd..
itachi has less than 1% of winning here.

LMFAOxd Did you just say rinnegan can be used against Itachi's Tsukiyomi?! LMFAO. It's already stated and proven what can escape Itachi's Tsukiyomi.
Rinnegan cannot be used to counter Itachi's Tsukiyomi it possess No such ability, and nowhere has it said that. You being a Nagato fan, should know all the capabilites of the Rinnegan. Madara's "sharingan" Might be able to break Itachi's Tsukiyomi since Madara's an Uchiha so he must be related to Itachi.
But Madara is faster, than Itachi i assume which is probably incorrect since we've never seen those 2 speed compared. But Itachi does have a chance against Madara with the Totsuku BLade. So stop tryna bash Itachi every chance you get. It makes you look desperate, to criticize Itachi all the time. But i agree Madara will win.

I believe Madara Uchiha will win because his edo is more powerful with rinnegan which is superior to MS even Itachi's.

Kishi flanked on Sasuke vs Neji fight. He would surprise me if Itachi fights Madara. Fact is, it would be the biggest fight ever.
