This shouldn't even be a debate. From what he has shown so far, with a rinnegan, madara is on a whole different level than itachi.

Madara wins this. His fire style jutsu is far above Itachi's, he has ems while Itachi does not, and last of all he has the most powerful doujutsu in existance in the rinnegan.

That is he only argument i can see for itachi possibly winning cuz Nagato had the rinnegan and we all know he´s way above itachi but it still didn´t stop him from getting sealed.

Anyway, on topic. This shouldnt even be a match up. After seeing what Madara can do, why even ask? He's been shown to have what Itachi has, but "more" ( except amaterasu ). Rinnegan, if he even has to use it, is just overkill.

itachi and nagato are almost the same level, but u cannot comare nagatos rinnengan with madaras cuz madaras rinnengan is on whole different level cuz it evolved from EMS. On the other hand nagato had rinnengan without sharingan.

In short.....Madara is probably the fusion between itachi and nagato. Nonetheless I think if nagato combined powers with itachi they would be more powerful lol.

He´s not at Nagatos level but in the narutoverse, we know that power isn´t everything and that you can still be beaten even though you´re more powerful, you need brains and that´s why i think Madara is gonna have his hands full dealing with itachi, he will win but it won´t be easy.

I'd hate to say it but Madara. Seeing what we saw in the managa, Itachi would have one hell of a time fighting him. Madara is by far the strongest Uchiha and that's just basing what we know about him now.

Think again. Madara is the most gifted Uchiha produced by his clan. No other Uchiha has even matched his Mastery over the Sharingan, and he even activated his own Rinnegan. Might be safe to say Madara is the smarter, more talented one off these feats alone.

If I had to choose from what I just saw like everyone else just mentioned, Madara would win this one. He's clearly a master of the Sharingan from the way he went into the Alliance Army and just started dominating them like he did. :/

But Itachi is also a master of the Sharingan in his own way. I mean surviving like he did while being ill isn't something just anyone can do. And even though sick as he was he was still a problem and was able to use most of his powers although the drawbacks finally caught up to him... T_T

Point being Itachi would give Madara a run for his money at first but as the fight went on Madara would just end it with some crazy jutsu. I wouldn't be surprised.
