so if what you are saying is right, and susanoo and sharingan dont share any connection after unlocking then,
sasuke shouldnt lose his eye sight.!!

it doesnt matter how many times he used his MS tech previously.!!

so his eye sight should be in his previously set standard and shouldnot lose sight.!!

the only reason the eyes are required to awaken it is so that the traumatic event can be visually experienced. so that the change can occur in the brain.. you need both eyes to cause the change in both brainhalves.

i'd like to put this possibillity forward for you lot to debate aboutther than genjutus and izanagi/izanami, wich are actual ocular prowels, a sharingan makes you capable of mastering a jutsu further than a normal human being could.. the path of pain's abillities were never just the sage's, they were just extremely well executed jutsu that require molding and control that a normal human being never could...

chakra absorbtion
advanced fire jutsu
bringing a soul back from the dead, or even in that old lady wich i forgot the name of, complete ressurection.
chakra cloaks or armors
perceiving the enviroment from multiple entities at once
space time ninjutsu
and so on and so on..

i bet you every single non-doujutsu sharingan and rinnegan abillity could be achieved as long as you have the knowledge.. now i'm also sure that for example the susano is indeed only achievable by those that have attained the mangekyo sharingan BUT that might just be because before you got that far, there is simply no way to get a connection with said susano(whatever that connection might be, it suggests to be somewhat spiritual of nature but you cant possibly predict that without utter luck as the narutoverse uses several religions for its "spirituallity").

The manga never stated explicitly and clearly , that Susanoo required the usage of the MS. Rather it stated that Susanoo is the third technique MS users obtain after Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu.

Sorry, but your argumentation is incorrect. The first thing is that Susanoo is classifies as a Dōjutsu(eye technique). The second contention is that Sasuke became blind because of Susanoo. Susanoo quickened the sealing of Sasukes Mangekyo Sharingan, it overused it. That was mentioned by Obito and is a fact.

no matter how people try and justify it, it's still an asspull. the special chakra is needed from the brain to activate the eyes yes, but that chakra is not what makes the techs work. the point of the dojutsu is that it acts as an conduit for said techniques. if there are no eyes there shouldn't be anything to produce said jutsu. example when using susano it put a huge strain on sasuke's eyes and thus susano vanished from the strain it put on them. i don't care so much that itachi didn't have MS activated as he still had his eyes, but madara had no eyes so thus shouldn't use dojutsu.

Susano'o is manifested chakra. You do not store your chakra in your eyes, silly. It's all over your body.
Maybe when an individual unlocks mangekyou some chakra channels inside the body are unlocked and thus the user can access them resulting in usage of susano'o, sort of upgrading his chakra.

My guess is that while Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi are both activated by the eyes, Susanoo itself is activated by the brain.
That would also explain why Madara was able to use Susanoo while having his Rinnegan active the whole time.
He switched back to his EMS to use Sharingan Genjutsu on A, wich sort of back ups the theory that Susanoo is not a MS tech but simply requires MS to unlock.
