Sorry, but your argumentation is incorrect. The first thing is that Susanoo is classifies as a Dōjutsu(eye technique). The second contention is that Sasuke became blind because of Susanoo. Susanoo quickened the sealing of Sasukes Mangekyo Sharingan, it overused it. That was mentioned by Obito and is a fact.

Even so, I liked your thesis.
Based on the scan i provided Sasuke was going blind FASTER because of the use of his eyes, as Itachi mentioned that regardless, awakening the MS meant eventual blindness.

The fact that not only Madara , but Itachi also accessed Susaanoo without having the MS actually active lends weight to the theory.

Susaanoo is classified as a Doujutsu because it is unattainable without an MS , but an active MS is no longer needed once attained.

A regular sharingan user cannot copy it etc etc

no matter how people try and justify it, it's still an asspull. the special chakra is needed from the brain to activate the eyes yes, but that chakra is not what makes the techs work. the point of the dojutsu is that it acts as an conduit for said techniques. if there are no eyes there shouldn't be anything to produce said jutsu. example when using susano it put a huge strain on sasuke's eyes and thus susano vanished from the strain it put on them. i don't care so much that itachi didn't have MS activated as he still had his eyes, but madara had no eyes so thus shouldn't use dojutsu.
No quite, especiially when there is multiple logical explanations

Sasuke mentioned he had massive strain on, and i quote, ''Every Cell In His Body'', and clutched his eyes.

Sasuke if you also remember was using Doujutsu such as Amaterasu and Genjutsu since the battle with Bee up to the Raikage and Danzo and then Kakashi

like i mentioned above the Sussanoo requires the MS to be attained by the user, but can be manifested as a jutsu of the body of the wielder

It is all theory end of the day, but carries logic to it and the fact it was done more than once, makes it more cohesive

From your original post you had the pic of itachi with reg sharingan and sussanoo but he was edo tensei during that time allowing him to use all his jutsu. When madara was fighting with no eyes he was alive and had sussanoo.

Now kakashi might be losing his sight too from overuse.

Is there a scan confirming that specifically Itachi was only able to use Susaanoo without accessing MS because he was Edo Tensei? no

The Edo Tensei brings you back in a condition that allowed you to fight, and in some cases 'edited', as Madara was.

So of course Itachi had access to all his Jutsus

Nope, Itachi lost only the "light" in his eyes. It's a difference if someone use a Dōjutsu without eyes and another guy is just [almost] blind, huh?
Susaanoo is classified as a Doujutsu because it is unattainable without an MS , but an active MS is no longer needed once attained.
Actually, In view of the definition of Dōjutsu, this proves no sense. Dōjutsu(瞳術) are genetic anomalies which can be caused by Kekkei Kekkai in the eyes. Moreover, the concept Dōjutsu describes the Jutsu which can be applied with these special eyes. Without Dōjutsu=no Dōjutsu :)

A regular sharingan user cannot copy it etc etc
Because it's part of a Kekkai Genkai. -.-

like i mentioned above the Sussanoo requires the MS to be attained by the user, but can be manifested as a jutsu of the body of the wielder
And that's a plothole, because it contradicts with the original legitimacies.

Sasuke became blind because of Susanoo. Outgoing from your opinion, this might not have happened. There is no [logical] explanation for that.

Yes there is no way yo prove this which is why you made it a theory. but

"Like other Mangekyou techniques, usage of Susanoo will damages the eyes and health of the user unless they have Eternal Mangekyou."
"Uchiha Madara was able to use his Uchiha Sharingan jutsu Susanoo in conjunction with his Rinnegan, granting him large scale Chibaku Tensei-like control of a large mountainous rock from the heavens."

heres my final answer. Once MS in both eyes are activated sussanoo forms and can be used in any sharingan form as long as both eyes are intact. Unless you have gained the EMS in which sussanoo will respond from just your body alone.
