its like Anime was just created or something for that to even be a thought Lol of course NOT. Not even if you actually think Madara is the greatest ANIME villain ever.. Vegeta & Frieza were way better villains in ANIME than Madara. Those two were never boring , not even for a second & they did some really ruthless & memorable villainous acts. Even when Vegeta was "anti-hero good" he was still pretty good at being villainous . Vegeta was doing things for himself mostly & pride of the saiyan race and feeling he was entitled to it. Well he was a prince.

Actually i now have put some thought to it. recalling all the villains from the countless series I've watches thus far.

a few names rose above the ones mentioned above: Shou Tucker from FMA and Makoto Shishio from RK. The evil on both of them far exceeds all the previously mentioned.

Madara is absolutely pathetic as a villain and he isn't a convincing one. His "plans" are full of plot holes, full of inconcistencies and absolute b*llshit moments where he creates Susano'o without his eyes, takes an eye like it's a candy and so on.

I'm sorry but Madara is nothing bland and cliched villain that appears in the final chapter of the manga (in an entirely lucky accident - Kabuto reviving him) and starts explaining how he planned everything since his birth. Totally unrealistic and stupid. Honestly, from all the anime's I watched (and althrough i'll admit, I haven't watched that much) Madara is probably the worst villain I have ever seen. He is just bland.

Not an accident really, if Obito would have been defeated , the Black Zetsu would have just taken control of his body and fled to use Rinne Tensei on Madara probably. His plans aren't unrealistic in Narutoverse. I don't think he said he planned everything or anything since his birth.

Second, I highly doubt that Zetsu would have been able to escape in time. The Shinobi Alliance would have cornered him pretty fast. Third, even on the brink of death Obito still manages to keep Zetsu at bay.

Well idk , but it still stands that you need the eyes (or be an uchiha) to "gain access" to Susano'o. Susano'o is kind of like the user's chakra (or life force or w.e.) isn't it? He was modified secretly , but it wasn't really explained on how he could do that. The way the events took place he wasn't really in dire need of a Susano'o since he barely used it without his eyes so anything else could have easily happened. That was just Writer's block Lol or poor performance by the staff.

What makes me think Obito would have been defeated? Well if you take Edo Madara out of the equation, after Edo Itachi got rid of the Edo Tensei Obito and Zetsu were the only villains left other than the "juubi" which Obito couldn't control on his own at first. Madara was a big help to Obito and with Sasuke and the Edo Hokage they would've handled Obito a lot easier with Madara not being there. Black Zetsu was pretty quick enough to intercept the Kyuubi from Minato.

Especially, his lying and manipulation skill is beyond the chart of anime.

But I do agree Madara is a outstanding villain.

Kid Buu is just a mindless brute not evil or cunning. There can be way more evil than just having the iq of a stupid monkey. Evil requires cunningness and Kid Buu is not as evil as it gets.
