Black Zetsu was created by the Will of Madara, so I believe Madara had intended for Black Zetsu to force Obito to bring Him back if Nagato failed to do so.
Its clear that Black Zetsu was meant to force whoever had the Rinnegan at the time to revive Madara. What doesn't make sense is that he was obviously planning to live as long as possible before Obito came along, perhaps long enough to have Black Zetsu force Nagato to use the Jutsu and restore his youth (if that is possible). However, once Obito came into the picture and Madara prepped him to take over, he decides to let himself die. But considering the limitations to the jutsu, letting himself die seriously complicated his revival and perhaps made it impossible.Black Zetsu was created by the Will of Madara, so I believe Madara had intended for Black Zetsu to force Obito to bring Him back if Nagato failed to do so.
argeed .............................Don't question his genius, it was all part of his elaborate scheme.![]()
Do you remember Nagato vs Bee? Nagato used one of the Rinnegan paths to absorb Killer Bee's chakra and got his youth restored (hair went red again and the likes). After seeing the method Madara used to revive himself, the fact that he let himself die after prepping Obito to take his place seems very strange. He clearly did not intend to use Edo Tensei to complete his plan, which was the key to how he was revived, so his original plan makes little sense now.
Facts:
1. Before Obito came into the picture, Madara was living off the Mazo. This means he was trying to survive as long as possible.
2. Madara never accounted for using Edo Tensei in his plan. He was fully confident he could complete his plan without making use of the tech.
3. Zetsu stated (*********** translation) that controlling Obito like he did to revive Madara was his one and only purpose.
Its obvious now that Madara planned for Black Zetsu to eventually force Nagato, like he did with Obito, into restoring him. However, we have to conclude that this would only bring him back to life, not restore his youth. The only reason Madara was restored young is because he had his young edo body. So how did Madara plan to be restored to this state without using edo tensei? Not only that, but he let himself die old so if Nagato's form of the jutsu was used on him, it would bring him back old. So how did Madara plan to bypass the youthful aspect of his revival without utilizing a modified edo body as a catalyst?
My point about him letting himself die old is that if he planned to live until he forced Nagato to revive/ restore him, why did he change his mind once he prepped Obito to take his place? Clearly letting himself die complicated his plans.
But if his original plan was to have Black Zetsu force Nagato to revive him, how would he reclaim his Rinnegan from him? Nagato would not simply give it up, if he was forced into the resurrection, and there is no way an old Madara could take it from him with only 1 Sharingan. Obito is still alive after reviving him, so Madara would have to fight to get his Rinnegan back.As I stated above, if Madara did not take the Rinnegan back, the only other option is for his Rinnegans to be re-created, and we can't expect Rinne Tensei to do that too.Madara never thought a war would start between Obito and the SA. His original plan was to force Nagato through Black Zetsu and bring him back alive. It didn't matter if he was old, because he had no one to fight to. Him and Obito would then go ahead with the Tsuki no Me without people realizing that Tsuki No Me would be casted. But, Obito betrayed him, told the SA about his plan, the Ten Tails and SO6P and started a war.
I suppose if the user died with 100% certainty after using the Jutsu, Madara could simply take the Rinnegan back from the original body.... but Obito has yet to die even though he was severely weakened before hand. Not to mention, once Madara re-transplanted his Rinnegan, he would not longer be capable of MS techniques, only Rinnegan techniques, considering it is now considered a transplant.I think also that Black Zetsu was not realy part of the main plan, I think he was more like a contingency plan.
the main plan was probably that obito would manipulate nagato into reviving madara. as I stated above in my other post, I presume that if there is only a single target of the jutsu that the potential of it is far greater and madara could be revived in a reasonable state. after this revival obito could claim the rinnegan and the two would form an unbeatable team, in case not all biju were captured.
black zetsu was madara's contingency in case obito would betray him, or be on the verge of defeat. since zetsu was the only one who knew who obito was they would always stick close together so black zetsu could interveane incase it was nececairy. and black zetsu can act as soon as obito has the rinnegan and is weak enough.
so the only way madara's plan for revival would fail was if nagato was beaten, obito got the rinnegan and betraid him befor being beaten. but madara's talk no jutsu about the moon eye plan and his "promice" to reunite him with rin in the dream world should prevent that. proof of this very last thing is that obito only decided to betray madara after recognising the he would not be worthy to meet rin again.
This was posted already. I agreed that this seemed like the best possible way for Madara to restore his youth, but I also stated that this didn't necessarily restore any youth, just replenish his stamina.Do you remember Nagato vs Bee? Nagato used one of the Rinnegan paths to absorb Killer Bee's chakra and got his youth restored (hair went red again and the likes).
I guess that is how Madara planned to restore youth, by using one of the Rinnegan paths.
