Madara is not > FTG

I've noticed several people saying this, and unfortunately, it's just untrue. Madara did not defeat FTG in speed, seen here:

Madara lunged for Tobirama after destroying the use in his right hand. However, Tobirama used FTG and switched to his left hand, to strike again. Unfortunately Kishi does not elaborate on the battle, and we are stuck with one last panel of Tobirama charging in, and Madara tripping. Overall, Madara did not best FTG, he merely bested Tobirama's reaction speed. Tobirama is not as fast as Minato in reaction speed, and shunshin, shown when Tobirama himself admitted that his shunshin was inferior. FTG > Madara > Tobirama's Reaction Speed. That is all citizens.

No. Tobirama dodged him with his FTG and attacked with shunshin. FTG was not part of his attack. Merely a means to dodge Madara's attack and form a counter. The initial shunshin where Tobirama's hand was rendered useless is where his reaction speed was bested. Madara reacted by hitting Tobirama's pressure point. Tobirama did not have time to dodge the attack or redirect it. Tobirama's reaction speed was bested. After that, the only time Tobirama was bested was off panel.

Tobirama's reaction speed is godly. Did you not seen when Juubito blitzed him and Hashi and yet Tobirama still managed to tag him with a Hiraishin mark and 4 paper bombs?

Madara did best him in taijutsu though, but it's by no means a mark against Tobirama's reactions considering he fought an SM user and it's only after he gained that power that there is "A gulf" between their abilities.

There's a major difference from teleportation (disappearing somewhere and appearing again somewhere else) and moving from one point to another at a certain speed.

The mere fact that speed is measured in things like km/s or m/s shows that teleportation isn't speed as it takes 0 seconds.

Madara beat an FTG user in cqc,in the very thing that FTG users are known to dominate,now he did with his reflexes or that Rinnengan tech,it doesnt really matter,what it matters is that he has the means to outpace an FTG user.

There is no shame in that,Tobirama had to resort in a teportation jutsu to challenge him in the first place.It goes both ways.

Ftg didn't fail. It's the ftg user that failed. The jutsu itself is instantaneous so not something you have time to react against. However the ftg attack speed depends on the body speed of the user. Madara reacted to Tobirama after teleportation, not to the teleportation itself. The marking wasn't on his body but a decent distance above him, giving him time to react to a following move from Tobirama after teleportation.

However someone like Minato would have owned him regardless simply because he moves even faster than them. He outmanoeuvred Obito's phasing ability that is faster than Madara in terms of reaction(demonstrated when he phased through FRS above the Jubi when Madara got owned by Kcm Lee when both attacks arrived at the same time to the respective opponents)
