I agree with you, but J-man learned the rasengan from Minato not the other way around, and Minatos was better bc he was a genious at creating new jutsus that match his own unique style.

The main reason it is an abomination is because it requires a living sacrifice.

Personally i think that Tobirama originally created it to bring back a loved one. To see them one more time. Maybe his wife... or maybe hashirama. But after bringing them back, he realized that it isn't the same, that he should let them rest in peace. So he declared it forbidden and buried the jutsu.

Think about how close Tsunade was to having Orochimaru bring back Dan and her brother with Edo Tensei.

I am going as far as to say the Second Hokage hated his brother because Hashirama was the gifted one and got everything so Tobirama might made a deal with Madara....if he kills Hashirama then Tobirama would give him something in exchange and that's how Madara was able to release himself from the Edo Tensei.

actually dude go back and read the manga. pretty early on right at the end of the chunin exams. orochimaru summons the first and second hokages and the third seals them with the dead demon seal. tobirama aint coming back.

Madara Uchiha is a prodigy who was able to attain the EMS and eventually the Rinnegan. I'm sure that he was able to figure out a loophole in the Edo Tensei jutsu and exploit it using his great knowledge. The power of knowledge goes a long way.
