Hang on, I'm perplexed.
Gai explains
Hirudora as a
simple fast punch. The technique in the Databook is described as not using any Chakra. But he can't use it more than once, why? The real question is, what is stopping him from not using it more than a bunch of times.
What is exactly in the mechanics of Hirudora that makes Gai only able to use it once or it tires him out? Is it the pain of throwing a punch that he can only do it once? He executed Night Gai perfectly in an ash state. What is it? Doesn't use Chakra, doesn't cause him pain. Even the Hachibi said Gai used
Hirudora whilst he was at his limit [

]. So obviously the technique does not need that much to execute.
You ask for evidence saying "
Where has Gai used the Hirudora technique more than once." Can you show me evidence why he can't use it more than once? Because I can show you the opposite.
I can show you Gai using
Hirudora in a beaten, bloodied, exhausted state, and once after Lee needed to carry him and saving Kakashi. But best of all, I can show you Gai using the much more taxing and self-damaging 8th Gate, and getting away with a number of higher level techniques executed to perfection; even after seeing Lee needing to carry him. Only the
second gate has been proven to boost your stamina, that's it. The other Gates only allow you to unlock your inner-potential further until the last Gate. You are literally making things up when evidence, manga panels, are stacked against you.
I can't actually show you Gai using
Hirudora or
Morning Peacock more than once in a Gated state, because that's all he has needed to defeat his enemies. Portrayal wise, all his techniques are described in the Databook as killing techniques,
Morning Peacock and
Hirudora. Tsunade can heal, but lets see her revive her self, because death is all that awaits, no room for regeneration. Gai already killed Kisame with
Morning Peacock, a 30% Chakra duplicate, no evidence suggesting his durability was affected. The technique Nagato used allowed even a double to have the
Sharingan, a complex Kekkei Genkai, to be copied. And you are going to tell me the technique could not duplicate durability, even when it duplicates speed, skill and technique. You know what, even Kisame himself, the enemy, stated the technique "
destroys the target" on impact. So I doubt
Morning Peacock is out of Tsunade's level of durability to not die from, especially when she took more than about 3 pages to completely heal a stab wound from a Sasuno sword that only needed a a small cluster of cells to be regenerated [the walls of the wounds innards closing in from either side].
I'm talking about all that heat and power that evaporated an entire Tsunami of water, directed, centralized, right to the head of Tsunade. Tell me Tsunade can tank that, and
Hirudora, and another set of moves. Tsunade does not have more moisture than the Tsunami wave of water that dwarfed Gai. Tsunade is going to be knocked unconscious, and die from brain damage since a large cluster of brain cells would have been destroyed.
