Base Sasuke + Sharingan is Chouji level.

Without the power of Orochimaru... Within Sasuke, he would of been destroyed and defeated by Deidara. When Sasuke had the White Snake powers, he had better Regeneration, more stamina, and when he used the Cursed Seal... He obtained Heavy Defensive Power, as well as Physical Power.

The Cursed Seal power was a DIRECT result of his win against Deidara.

Deidara in fact, LANDED A BOMB on Sasuke, and it blew off the Cursed Seals wing. That strong defensive power. Imagine if he hadn't of had the Cursed Seal.

He wouldn't of been able to fly up and stab Deidara.
Sasuke would of been defeated Easily.

Look at Base Sasuke vs Hachibi. Some simple swordplay, and without that Cursed Seal to add that strength and Defensive Ability, he was peirced in no time, and was about to be killed.

When the Hachibi went to finish him off, Sasuke simply put up his arm to block it. LOL

Lucky Suigetsu was around to save him.
And Karin.
And Juugo.

Sasuke probably was hoping the Cursed Seal would blast up out of nowhere and give him some secret "OMFG I'M Screwed HELP ME Power"... But it didn't.

Sasuke is useless in his base form. He can be defeated, and outsmarted.

He needs powerups. He needs other powers to give him strength. His Sharingan potential, is the real thing to fear with Sasuke, not Sasuke himself.

I would of laughed if Suigetsu left Sasuke in the Snake world and didn't summon him back.

Regardless, this proves that Base Sasuke, even with the Sharingan, would of been beaten by Deidara.

Orochimaru > Sasuke
Deidara > Sasuke
Itachi > Sasuke
Hachibi > Sasuke

Soon:

Naruto > Sasuke

Hehe it's kinda true. I don't think Sasuke is used to not having the curse seal to pull him out of jams with extra chakra, etc. I woudn't underestimate him though, Sasuke without the Sharingan is like a Naruto without the nine-tails.

But still he will not have the power he can always keep as a backup..

and we duno if the sharingan has any after effects..wad if yr eyesight worsens too..Then sasuke wun dare to use it often.Or maybe its powers suck?

remember tobi blocked suigetsu's sword with his bare arm.. so that's what sasuke could have been going to do. he hasn't used ANY sharingan techniques yet, so there is no way that you can compare 'current sasuke' to anybody else...

as for hachibi's strength... sasuke isn't going for a quick kill, so that's why he has to pretend to be weak and draw out the full power of the jinchuuriki, so sasuke knows how much force he can use on his opponent before he accidentally kills him.

i don't really like sasuke, but he's undeniably one of the strongest shinobi alive.

dont u guys know that he*s kishi*s favorite?
he*ll pull out some awesome moves pretty soon, no doubt about that, the curse seal was just a stage in his life just like naruto decided not to use the kyuubi anymore so will sasuke learn how to fight without the Cs and will master his Ms

When did he own Kakashi? Itachi was dying and didn't even try to win. He stopped Ameratsu short, he forced Orochimaru out and then he even gave Sasuke MS. Deidara as mentioned was only beaten with Sasuke using CS2. Yamato didn't fight him seriously as Orochimaru stepped in. He's not better than Naruto once he finishes his training with the toads even if he appears to be "at the moment" (that is the damning part, once Naruto levels up bye bye Sasuke), and he hasn't fought Naruto. I'm pretty certain Naruto is going to beat Pein, someone who Sasuke probably can't. Sasuke is powerful, but he really hasn't fought anyone in a serious fight other than Deidara.

Summary: Yamato, Kakashi, and Naruto have not been fought. Itachi intentionally lost. He beat Deidara using CS2. He now has MS.

I would'nt go that far, we all know it's Sasuke Just tryin to be cool, by overestimating his power, and probly just gettin smacked around to be suspenseful (have to undersatnd wat Kishi is trying to do)

that sentence should have been, "he beat itachi, who OWNED kakashi." so kakashi loses to sasuke.. and orochimaru stepped in only after sasuke stabbed yamato, so very easily. so yamato loses to sasuke.. and as for naruto, he's the freeking star of the manga, so of course sasuke loses to naruto. i said that sasuke was one of the strongest shinobi alive, but not the very strongest.

itachi never intentionally lost. while it may be true that itachi wasn't going to kill sasuke, it was sasuke that pushed him past his breaking point. sasuke is the one that beat him so badly, that he could no longer fight the sickness in his body. itachi was testing his strength during that battle, so if itachi had it his way, he would have survived the fight and told sasuke the truth himself (but only if itachi thought sasuke was strong enough). instead, itachi settled for 'plan b' which was to implant all of his techniques into sasuke.. and hope it was enough to protect him from madara.

Itachi lost to Sasuke cus Itachi wanted Sasuke to revive Uchiha clan and have respect by other ninjas ( not like Itachi ) , btw: Itachi had some disease.
Itachi did everything what he wanted
1. He made Sasuke stronger
2. He removed "cursed seal" ,Orochimaru from his body
3. He made Sasuke look like hero who killed Uchiha Itachi, killer of Uchiha clan
So he made "future" for Sasuke , I dont think someone would like to live then mostly ninjas hate you...

I agree with leafeater

Naruto may not beat Sasuke but atleast stop him before he makes mistake
