No hes saying sasuke at full strength could have beaten itachiAnd it looks that way to most of us
Even Zetsu was saying, that its not reak Itachi, its not his strenght
Technically itachi did beat sasuke, sasuke was in a corner and had nothing left, if itachi simply gave up the facade of walking for his eyes and swiped sasuke with one last totsuka pwning, sasuke would be gone.
Itachi let sasuke live because that was what he wanted, itachi couldve killed him-easily, i may add.
hmm dude sasuke was stabbed by 5 swords from the jinchuriki, why didnt he blocked them with "tobis Technique" ? he was using his sharingan against the jinchuriki, and he couldn't read his movements, we all know what the MS can do, so sasuke relies on this kind of power, but what if hachibi counter MS with some special jutsu(dont know, maybe he has some special eyes under his sunglasses
) i think some 1 will help sasuke, like damn hmmm tobi? kisame? secret power dont know? and i think freakin zetsu is there as well to "RECORD" the fight and too obeserve sasuke if akatsuki can trust sasuke an his gang, i dont really like sasuke too
but hes definetly NOT one of the strongest shinobi alive...you can't say because sasuke defeated itachi ( we all know the reasons about sasukes win!!!) that hes stronger than kakashi, an yamato ure right he was stabbed but sasuke is not stronger than yamato, it would be a cool fight yo..

Yamato wasn't really stabbed, at least not deeply since he simply pushed Sasuke's chidori sword out with his mokuton jutsu, i.e. a piece of wood extended the sword out. He was also stabbed before Yamato said he was going to get serious.
If Itachi wanted to, he could've won that fight numerous times during it. He could've finished it with Ameratsu or Susanoo and let Sasuke go to sleep forever. Not to mention he was dying.
Also comparing Kakashi before the time skip to Sasuke afterwards is simply a false comparison(i.e. a mistake in a transitive inference here). If Itachi had defeated Kakashi after the timeskip it is a different story. For example, Sasuke defeated deidara, albeit using CS2. Deidara defeated Gaara, so it's fair to say that Sasuke is likely stronger than Gaara right now. Before the timeskip, Gaara would've killed Sasuke if not for Naruto.
The only fight I'll concede to Sasuke is Deidara. Now Sasuke is damn powerful, but we need more proof by means of his fighting. I say he is powerful because of his fights with Deidara and Itachi where we saw his jutsus and intelligence.
Sasuke has gotten a lot of his power ups for free though. CS2, MS, forbidden jutsu to speed him up from Kabuto/Orochimaru.

I dont think the naruto universe can be shown clearly with transitive inference, certain techniques are much more effective on certain enemies, given range, speeds, and elementals, therefore it isnt as simple as A>B>C therefore character A can beat C
Maybe B only beat C because C is weak to B's bloodlimit but character A is strong against B's bloodlimit.

People tend to forget that he trained has hard as Naruto just because he got the sharingan. But you know, some are born with the avantage of their genetic (byakugan, sharigan, rinnegan), some are born with other abilities or, just like naruto, some are born with an incredible amount of chakra. All ninjas have different abilities that's just the way it it. As for the curse seal we could say the same about the kyubbi inside Naruto.

Agreed, but sometimes all we have to go on is transitive inference at times. Naruto was born with an ultimate power up with the 9 tails. I don't think people are being Sasuke haters, but it's desirable to clarify who he actually fought and defeated, and who people think he can defeat. As I said he's very powerful, and among the best currently out there. That's all I'll say for this thread. Thanks
