Lionsgate Hints at Saw 8

Here I thought the franchise were over and now this wow, anyone tired of this saw movies?.​

Even as Lionsgate was promoting Saw 3D last October, there were rumors circulating that this latest installment wouldn't be the last we'd hear from Jigsaw and his sadistic torture games.

Bloody Disgusting reports that Lionsgate Vice Chairman Michael Burns says a Saw 8 is definitely in the cards for the studio. "I'm sure, some day, you'll see Saw back in the picture," he said.

Other than The Hunger Games, Lionsgate has no foreseeable franchise films coming out any time soon, so another Saw seems like a profitable option. Only time will tell when exactly another sequel will go into production.​
