Yes, but I didn't mean for you to drown the opponent, I meant for you to envelop his/her body (And not the head) in water. See it like this, the opponent feels as if he/she has been sucked into the ground leaving only the head. In reality he/she is just standing there. What I mean for you to do is wrap your opponent in water. Inside your opponent's mind, they'll see ground, in reality, they're held tight by water.
The first Genjutsu I'll teach you came from my idea of working with the misuse of chakra, as in, what would happen if the opponent were to loose control, over their jutsus. And so Prankster Monkey was born. First of all, the genjutsu will only affect people from the same rank and bellow, except if you're a Genjutsu Specialist (state it in your bio) or simply a Sharingan or other Genjutsu KG/Clan users, which will allow you to trick a person from 1 rank above.
This jutsu does not work on every jutsu. For example, if the jutsu the opponent uses is an Earth Technique, like Earth Spikes, far away from the user, then it won't backfire. Likewise, genjutsus wont backfire. Now, you cna be very creative. Fire and Lightning jutsus are almost sure kills, as fire is spat, thus you cna make the fire burn the mouth and face and explode on the user, you can make the lightning that comes from the body short-circuit and paralyze burn the hands etc. It also works with wind like Hurrican fist, since it's sent from the hand, you can claim that it cuts the hand and makes the opponent loose control. Then there are the jutsus that envelop the user, like Earth Armour or something, you can make it so it's too tight, crushing the user. Water is also very unlikely to backfire.
(Genjutsu: Saru no Sobaeru) Illusion Technique: Prankster Monkey
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user preforms 1 handseal, casting a genjutsu that affects the opponents' brain, making him loose control over his own techniques, by exaggerating on the proportions of said technique. For example, if the person goes to spit a fireball, the stream that is spat is bigger than usual, burning the face and anything near it. Or when the person runs electricity through his the body, loss of control makes it short-circuit and shock the body. Or when the user encases him/herself in earth, the earth constricts around the body, harming and preventing breathing. This does not serve to augment the damage of the technique, if the opponent manages to fulfill the technique, it just makes it backfire. This genjutsu doesn't work on every technique nor on every situation, the user must balance the usage of this technique with situations where increasing the technique would make it backfire. Only one jutsu is affected by the technique, the following ones will not be.
*The genjutsu will only affect people from the same rank and bellow. Sharingan users or other Genjutsu specialists will be able to affect one rank above*
( Genjutsu: Mahou no Kei Chikin ) Illusion Technique: The Voodoo of the Headless Chicken
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: Requires 5 handseals. This jutsu acts as the opposite of False Surrounding (Kokohin). Instead of manipulating the opponent's perception of his/her surroundings, it changes the perception of his/her body by removing or adding organs/objects. This allows the user to remove limbs/organs, to prevent certain actions to be taken, such as ripping one's eyes to make the opponent blind, removing one's lungs to make the user pass out from lack of air, removing one's legs to prevent the target from running etc, or add certain objects/organs, such as blades to one's stomach, or adding stitches to one's mouth, silencing them.
*Can only be used 3 times per battle*
*Opponent needs to find a way to counter or release the genjutsu in his countering turn when the illusion pertains to "removal" of organs or he'll lose conscience from the pain and mental strain*
Okay, this is probably my most favorite Genjutsu. Just the fact that it takes it's name and abilities from Voodoo dolls is just awesome. Well now, this allows you complete control over your opponent's perception of his/her body, meaning, you can make your opponent suffer almost any torture you can conjure. Any additions or removals of the pain are made with awful pain, which will not release the genjutsu, as it is mental pain, not actual pain, but will cause enough strain to knock the person unconscious. With this jutsu you can cause slow and painful torture, by causing pain which isn't enough to make one faint, or quick and horrid torture, by making the opponent experience unbelievable pain. You can be as gruesome and creative as you wish.
The faster and more useful uses of this technique would be the removal of the eys to cause blindness, arms to prevent handseals, legs to prevent walking, stitch one's eyes or mouth, removal of the eardrums to deafen the hearing, etc etc etc.
Oh while gross is extremely cool. and good note at the beginning about losing consciousness, because normally a technique like this would break the illusion on its own from the pain and mental strain.
yep, now, la creme de la creme, the best Genjutsu Counter there is:
(Genjutsu: Setsuwa no Ichi Ni Kumo) Illusion Technique: The Tale of the Itsy Bitsy Spider
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: This jutsu acts both as a form of Kai and an actual genjutsu. Itsy Bitsy Spider allows the user to manipulate the jutsu and make it work towards her own purposes, while trapping the opponent. This jutsu comes in 2 phases.
In the first phase, the user will suddenly start to turn into tiny hideous spiders, until she disintegrates completely, while manipulating the Genjutsu she's on. For example, if an opponent genjutsu creates a tree that envelops the user, it will constrict her so much that she explodes into multiple spiders, while the tree starts to decay. (The user can have any creativity she wants). This marks the release of the opponent jutsu.
In the second phase, the opponent will start to feel uncontrollable itch, and the genjutsu will force him/her to scratch him/herself frantically. The skin will start to breach and create gashes, from where small spiders will start to come out, as the skin will expose the muscles and the bones, until the person is just mutilating itself, with spiders appearing from every inch of his body. The fear and pain will grow on the person quickly and steadily, until all turns black and a huge hideous spiders suddenly appears in front of the user, with multiple horrible eyeballs, which will knock the opponent out, convulsing in his sleep.
*Knocks the opponent out for 2 turns*
*Can only be used against techniques of the same rank or lower*
*The user will not be able to use genjutsus for 3 turns*
*Can only be used 3 times per battle
*Genjutsu especialist or doujutsu specialist will be able to counter techniques one rank above*
This works in two phases, first it will release you from any genjutsu you're in, up to the rank of the technique or, if you're a genjutsu or doujutsu specialist, 1 rank above. This does include Tsukyomi. Then it will cast a counter genjutsu on your opponent. The way you make it behave is entirely based on your creativity. For example, if your opponent makes you see a tree, you can make it so the tree hugs you so much you burst into spiders. If it makes everything dark, you can make it so that you disappear in the darkness too, if it make you see fire you can make it so that the opponent sees you melt. Then it will make your opponent feel an itch, which, as he/she scratches, will reveal spiders under their skin. It will become really fragile, until the opponent is nothing but blood, and then will paralyze them.
i dont mind spiders but this one is pretty creepy. Have the opponent scratching like a crackhead
so what is the process in controlling your chakra to make this genjutsu while the opponent is already controlling the chakra in your brain? is it like casting a genjutsu on yourself AND the opponent at the same time?
