Yep, got it.
Wow, there seem to be a few of these numbing/paralyzing techniques. Anyways, this technique is extremely fast to perform as well as to execute. Thus, it would be good to use it in short range as the victim won't have much time to respond at all. But then, I probably fight mid range most of the time, so I could use it to pierce the opponent from that range too. To counter, if one is in short range, then it would be quite difficult, but it can still be done. For example, by using some kind of speed technique to move away or spitting out a sticky substance to have them fall to the ground. If defending against it in mid range, there are more options, like attacking it with an elemental attack and allowing it to go through, or using a defensive barrier.
This one kind of reminds me of the Rasengan. If I am in short range of my opponent, I would not throw it, but just aim it onto them whilst it's still on my hand, like one would with the Rasengan. If I am in mid range though, I would of course throw it at the enemy, and start performing another attack as soon as it leaves my hands. To counter against in short range, a full body defense, or part of the body, like the S-Rank earth technique could be used. Or an elemental attack which does not catch the user in the middle of it, like one which would push everything omnidirectionally from the body could also be used. If in mid range, countering would be easier, like with the previous technique.
This last one can go up to long range, and it already has a combo listed with it, so that's how I would use it. First I would have to use Mud Fall, then this technique, and then Firing Biscuit to cook the enemy caught in this technique. But this combo is not fixed, I could use it after something else, or not after anything. Perhaps I would use the mist technique before it, so that the lightning would be amplified with the water particles. To defend, I would have to make sure I do not stay in the pillars when I see them rising. I would not really be able to attack them, so instead, I would have to use a technique that would get me out of the range of the pillars, like a summon, or an elemental technique that puts me up above the range of the pillars. But not water, because I would get electrocuted. Wind would be the best in this situation since it is strong to lightning.
