Re: [DISCUSSION] Legend of Korra - Season Finale
Well, I loved the finale, it did seem a little rushed, but that's the feel I got from every episode of Korra... I'm surprised to see so many people whining how it's not as badass as they expected, I seriously don't know what kind of stuff you people watch if this wasn't badaass. Not to mention it was only a season finale not a finale of the show
I loved the story about Tarllok and Noatak , it was sad in every way-from their messed up childhood with Yakone, to their final scene... I don't think Noatak necessarily knew Tarllok would blow them up, I think that last tear was caused by his overwhelming emotions....
I love how Korra didn't use avatar state to save the day, that would be so lame and obvious and was something we all expected to happen-that in the moment Amon tried to take away her bending she would have slipped into avatar state and defeated him with her awesome avatar powers... No, instead , she was shown as a real, vulnerable human as the rest, but with a little more skill and power... Of course Aang would restore her bending- I mean it is logical for her to slip into the avatar state, as Aang said, while being at her lowest, that's how Aang's emotions often led him to use the state too... And of course he would return her the powers and insert the knowledge into her...that's what the past Avatars are for-to guide the new one... xD
I was actually cheering for Mako and Asami but I'm glad at least that whiny, shipping stuff is finally over
The only disappointing stuff for me is that Katara would be so ignorant in the matters of Avatar, she spent her whole life with Aang, she lived the situation when his chakra path was severed and she didn't try to advise Korra to get in touch with her spiritual self to find the way to restore her powers
That was in a way, unrealistic, but I guess they didn't want to spoil the scene with Korra an Aang
)
Oh gosh, what do you people think will happen in the next season ?? I guess we'll find out what happened with Zuko's mom, maybe we'll get to meet Sokka's kids or grandkids, maybe Kya ?? xDD
