Rain Release is the manipulation of pre-existing water in the atmosphere in order to form precipitation. It may be called rain release but it can also take the form of frozen rain which is a dangerous variant of Rain Release. Rain Release is utilized by Ame ninja, ninja from the Hidden Rain. The components necessary for Rain Release are Wind and Water. The wind component is based on the fact that rain is formed by gathered water vapor in the form of clouds. Wind allows the clouds to be formed. Water is the manipulation of gathering the water vapor so that they form from a gaseous form into a more natural state of liquid H2O. A rain user is Nagato using the Deva Path, Yahiko's body.

Yeap.

As I hear the request, I begin stringing together the necessary hand seals; Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake. As I perform them, I manipulate the water vapor in the air in order to have the water form together into clouds. I then infuse the water inside of the clouds with my chakra so that they become sensory droplets. As they form together to form the droplets simultaneously, they begin to fall and whenever something makes contact with them, I can feel it. Any slight divergences in the rain's path is felt and sensed by me. The rain continually drops after I finish the hand seals. I stand in the rain with a rain coat on.

I begin to gather the falling water into the palm of my hand be using a field of chakra that grasps the water droplets and pulls them towards my hand. As it begins to gather, I compress the water, hightening its mass and density. As it reaches a maximum amount of compression, fairly quickly, I form my chakra field into the water that makes the orb and knead it into the water. I then send the chakra at the target while maintaining the chakra in its orb like form. Due to the high density and mass, the orb strikes with devastating force against your clone.

Description: This technique causes a target of the user's choice to "attract" raindrops. The water in the rain drops will attach themselves over an opponent. Once enough water has gathered over an enemy it will also attach to the ground, holding the user's opponent to the ground.

This is a very useful rain technique which grants tactical advantages, by concentrating your chakra around your opponent's body "or in his clothes..etc" causing him to be some kind of a "magnet" of rain droplets in which the rain droplets will attach itself to the opponent restricting him from being able to move freely and holding him to the ground.
