(Suiton: Kouu no Fukkou) - Water Style: Rain's Renaissance

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts by combining his Water and Wind based chakra, to form Rain chakra. Dean then slams his hands onto the ground before him, and sends a great wave of rain chakra through the ground. Through manipulation, Dean causes all nearby water sources' water, to head back into the sky, and let it fall as rain again, creating a pseudo infinite rain that keeps on falling.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Well, it's only use is to replenish water, by sending it back into the sky, so it falls like rain again. You could use it as a supplementary, helping you complete your Rain techniques, and allow you to defeat your opponent with ease.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -The technique itself does no damage, and therefore, can only be used for its single purpose. Also, it's range is limited to Mid range.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -Hm, well one could basically manipulate the Water source before the opponent does. Or try and destroy the water before it heads up, or something lel.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -Nope.
(Kyuutai no Ame) - Orb of Rain

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts by combining his Wind and Water chakra, and creating Rain chakra. He then forms a long line of hand seals, and then starts manipulating said Rain chakra, to form around his palms of his hands, attracting the rain drops. As the gather, they start form an orb of Rain around Dean's hands, and he makes his way towards an opponent. Upon getting close range with the opponent, Dean launches his hand towards the opponent, and makes this orb of rain explode towards the opponent, blasting him back quite some distance.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Basically, it can be used in conjunction with some Genjutsu, that constricts the opponent, or an Earthen technique where you travel through the ground, and slam it into the opponent. A speedy character like Minato would utilize this perfectly ;_;
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -You need to get up close and personal, in order to blast it towards the opponent. Makes it quite difficult, and also, it has a long string of hand seals.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -The rock amor would work, if I don't have enough time to counter, with say a wall of Earth.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather water and wind chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Upon doing so, i would proceed to slam my hands on the ground and send that rain chakra into the ground, where I manipulate all water sources on the ground within range and manipulate them to slowly, throughout the battle, rise up from the ground to the sky and fall back down again, creating infinite rain.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); Well, this isn't a combination-friendly technique. I would basically use this technique for its supplementary uses, maybe even use the water source to create infinite rain after an enemy stopped the rain with the stop rain technique, lol. I would use this on a water source that my opponent is standing on so when they see it rise up, they'd probably think its a genjutsu. xD
  • Limitations of the technique; It cannot use water sources outside of mid-range. xD
  • How to counter the technique; I would counter this technique by eliminating the water sources, by using it as a technique against my enemy or even using a technique like a water dragon bullet to have it travel long range from my target. o_o
  • Questions regarding the technique; Not really
  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather water and wind chakra and combine them together to create rain chakra after performing a line of handseals. Upon doing so, i woudl release this chakra on my palms and have the rain drops falling on the sky to be gathered to that single spot. Then, i would run towards my opponent and by the time i get close to them, i punch them, and manipulate the orb of water to explode outwards to push them away.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); Well, it does not say that it needs physical contact so what i'd try to do is run towards my opponent, skillfully and hidden, so when my fist is like an inch away, it would explode outwards to push them back and damage their backs. I could use techniques like hiding in earth, or hiding in mist to effectively conceal my movements
  • Limitations of the technique; It cannot reach long range, and you'd need to risk getting to short-range
  • How to counter the technique; I would counter this technique by making sure my opponent stays away from me. I could create bounderies to block me from the user, like a wall of earth, or a swamp parting us. I could also create the B or S-rank armor and simply tank it, while attacking right after since they'd be so close
  • Questions regarding the technique; Nah

PERFECT. I'm proud, of you both.

(Hitoshirenu Ame Naifu) - Hidden Rain Knives
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user creates the necessary handseals and rain drops in an area of 20 meters around the user is able to turn into sharp water needles, these are relatively weak but can be directed towards an opponent.

Once again an perfect technique. This is just, splendid. It's weak to use this against your opponent but if you are really going for the win then you should use this. Sneaky as hell, and unable to find out so easily because of the fact that the rain is purely falling from the sky one after another unable to notice nor figure out if they shape into knives to kill your opponent or not. So, I want you to shape and manipulate the falling rain drops into tiny little knives that are sharp, cannot deal allot of damage but are lethal in their own ways if you aim for the vital points.

Good, nice job!

(Hashira no Ame) - Pillar of Rain
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user focuses rain to form as a large pillar before high up in the rain, and also focusing on a point on the ground where it should land, the water pillar has a radius of 4 meters and is a powerful jutsu to give an upper advantage against the enemy, the pillar dissolves as it lands on the ground creating a shock wave of water

Interesting, strong, easy to use and understand. Be creative, tell me how you could use this with another technique in combination?

    -Dean starts off by mixing his Water and Wind based chakra to form Rain chakra. He then forms the necessary hand seals, and sends his Rain based chakra into the sky. After foing so, he manipulates it to form into small knives of rain in a 20 meter radius around himself. These can then be directed towards the opponent with ease, and be aimed for vital spots.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Basically, if the opponent is still trying to counter a technique of mine, I could use this to quickly strike the vital organs of the opponent, Or it can be used with the Genjutsu, Bringer of Darkness. Whilst the opponent can't see, I would manipulate these knives to strike from behind the opponent (if he is within the 20 meter radius.) Quite useful.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -Not that many, only till mid range, doesn't cause a lot of damage and must be directed towards the opponent.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -Well, if one could see the small sharp knives, one could use the stop rain technique or just use a powerful Fire based jutsu to evaporate them. One could also use an Earth based armor to protect yourself from said knives. Tricky though.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -Are they manipulated with hand gestures when they are formed?

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts off by mixing his Water and Wind based natures, and forming Rain chakra. He then focuses this chakra high up in the sky, in order to form it into a pillar of Rain. Dean would then also focus an area on the ground where this pillar would fall. After doing so, the pillar of rain comes down towards the Earth with great speed. As it lands, it releases a shock wave of water with a radius of 4 meters.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Nice technique, one could actually drop this right on the opponent's head. Best used with a technique that constricts the opponent, one could then focus the point of impact right onto the opponent, basically slamming into them with great force.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -Only till mid range, and the opponent would notice the pillar forming, as the rain would gather to make it.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -Any Earth based technique that forms an overhead protection would suffice.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -How large is the pillar?

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Upon doing so, i would release it to each and every one of the rain drops falling at the battlefield around me, with a 20 meter diameter. Once that is complete, i use the rain chakra in the rain to use shape manipulation to change the shape of the rain drops to create drops of rain that are sharp and lethal if used correctly.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would use this technique a turn after the rain tiger at will, so it wouldn't be obvious that the rain would change since if it starts raiining the enemy would most likely notice the rain. I would use this technique first and follow up with a technique that would hinder their eye sight, like bringer of darkness. In that short moment, i'm sure they wouldn't be able to react to the rain quick enough to give off a proper counter. I could also lower the ground 100 meters so the rain wouldn't be seeable from the large pit
  • Limitations of the technique; You need to direct this towards the enemy or you could get affected.
  • How to counter the technique; I would first, notice the rain drops changing, the ones in front of me that's slightly up. Then i would proceed to coutner accordingly, with stop rain technique, B-rank earth armors, or merge with the ground to stay safe
[*]Questions regarding the technique; Same question as L

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i send this new chakra to each and every one of the rain drops falling on the enemy. Then, i would proceed to manipulate my chakra to join the rain drops together, creating a pillar of raindrops joined together to fall down naturally towards the enemy.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would use this technique first, so even when my opponent notices the raindrops, i could react by forcing them into it. A good technique with this would be water pillar thrust, so push them up towards the pillar and have them hit it faster. A better technique would be the S-rank moving earth core, since it would be sooo fast that theyd have almost no time to react
  • Limitations of the technique; The fact that the changes could be felt.
  • How to counter the technique; I would counter this technique by noticing the changes above me, and reacting accordingly to create a earth based technique that could act as protection from above. I could even use a wind technique, like the A-rank wind blade to split it in half and cause it to disperse
[*]Questions regarding the technique; No

Ace at Akatsuki doe.

Nope, no hand gestures needed. And the pillar is large, so... yeah, let's say as big as the A-Ranked fire pillars technique.

(Hyaku Touei Ame Bushin) - Hundred Rain Reflection Clones
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A large scale upgrade of the Reflection Rain clone. The user can create his reflection one hundred different times, these clones don't cause a threat to the enemy and is destroyed by one hit but can make the enemy confused and the user will have time to issue another attack. The clones mimic the user's every move.

Very handy to merge in between them. I would use this with first of all, using a technique to confuse your enemy; mess with their sight to make it blurry or mess with their senses and use this technique afterwards. These clones cannot attack nor use technique's so be creative when using this.

(Ame toraidento no Jutsu) - Rain Trident Technique
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: A powerful jutsu that uses chakra to gather rain and form it into a long Trident. The Trident is able to change lengths at the user's well and thanks to the chakra has a somewhat solid form. The Trident returns to its' normal state shortly after creation. When the trident cuts into an object, it expands into said object causing more damage and sometimes can even be used to break bones.

You remember the technique that was used by ductrio from pokemon? The three headed birds? So it's basically a triangle in this case that can cut trough solid objects, quite easy to use. It's rain, so you can use this nearby your opponent without the need of any handseals whatsoever, so be creative.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i send this large amount of ameton chakra into each and everyone of the rain drops falling around me. I combine these rain drops and use my ameton chakra to manipulate the chakra and create a clone of me, falling down like the rain drops. The clones are made all around me, therefore, i would hide in a location that wouldn't make myself so obvious and easily seen.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would use this technique to initiate a move. I can start out with this technique, and after that, they would be falling and covering my vision of the enemy, and their vision of me. Once that is done, i can attack accordingly. If i have the clones fall around the target, i would attack by creating a mist so they wouldn't be able to differentiate from the real one or the clones, and with the mist it would be harder to see. If i make it everywhere, i would just make an actual clone and have it blend in like normal clones, lel.
  • Limitations of the technique; It cannot do anything and the sole purpose of it is for a distraction.
  • How to counter the technique; I would counter this technique by moving to a location that would allow me to see the enemy clearly, or use some sort of sensing ability so i can know where the actual enemy would be, or just use stop rain o-o

  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would try to launch it at a blind spot, like the back, which is also good because the back has a lot of fragile and important bones that could be destroyed and would greatly hinder the enemy in battle. I can also use it as a normal trident, i guess, and attack with it as CQC and i could just try to have it aim the enemies skull.
  • Limitations of the technique; Cannot be used in long range and it is obvious that something is being created if the enemy can feel chakra being gathered above them.
  • How to counter the technique; I would feel the rain drops stop falling at a certain area, or notice them joining together somewhere, and once that happens, i can use the S-rank earth hardlining technique to defend accordingly.

(Hyaku Touei Ame Bushin) - Hundred Rain Reflection Clones

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts off by mixing his Wind and Water based chakra to form it into Rain based chakra. After that, Dean manipulates his Rain based chakra, and allows it to form into exact copies of himself, up to 100 of them. He would then hide between them, confusing the enemy.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Basically, it can be used to confuse your enemy and allow you to combine it with some deadly combinations. It could work well with a few Genjutsu too, and allow you to attack fast and hard.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -Even though there are so many clones, they still can't attack and also mimic your every move. Pretty much a supplementary technique.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -Since the clones don't do much, one could just use a wide spread technique to hopefully hit the opponent, or use a sensing technique to find the original and just attack him.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -Nope.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts off by mixing his Water and Wind based chakra to create Rain chakra. He then focuses this chakra into the sky, and manipulates it to form into a solid trident of rain. This trident can be manipulated to change size, and is then launched down towards the opponent, causing blunt damage.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -It's quite sneaky, I'll use it when I have constricted the opponent, and strike vital areas with the trident. Since it can be created in short range, it must be quite fast too.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -It can't be created up to long range, and can also be noticed easily.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -One could, after noticing it form like most solid based rain techniques, use an overhead or self based earth technique. Like Earth armor or if you are fast enough, or have a fast character, use a technique that would take you out of harm's way (Flicker evasion or FTG z,z) snce it falls in a linear path.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -Nope.

    -Dean starts off by mixing his Water and Wind based chakra to create Rain chakra. He then focuses this chakra into the sky, and manipulates it to form into a solid trident of rain. This trident can be manipulated to change size, and is then launched down towards the opponent, causing blunt damage.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -It's quite sneaky, I'll use it when I have constricted the opponent, and strike vital areas with the trident. Since it can be created in short range, it must be quite fast too.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -It can't be created up to long range, and can also be noticed easily.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -One could, after noticing it form like most solid based rain techniques, use an overhead or self based earth technique. Like Earth armor or if you are fast enough, or have a fast character, use a technique that would take you out of harm's way (Flicker evasion or FTG z,z) snce it falls in a linear path.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -Nope.
UP TO S-RAAAAAAAAAAAANK ~ (I except better combinations and counters this time!)

(Kadou Tsunami no Jutsu) - Vortex Tsunami Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: A highly advanced technique that draws all the rain into one point, this single point spins at high speeds, so high that they begin to pull the rain cloud into them. The final effect of this technique is a swirling storm of Water that rushes towards an opponent in a fierce tidal wave like motion.
The speeds that this vortex spins at are so fast that it is able to cut through armor. This technique, once sent out is almost impossible to stop and will continue going until the chakra supporting it runs out. As a downside, the storm will chase down an opponent and anything near an opponent, including the user of the jutsu .

Description says it all, the same as every other water ranked vortex but this one is made out of rain, and much stronger. But, remember that when used incorrectly, that even you might get caught up in it. But yes, combining it with lightning or wind would be quite the lethal technique, especially with wind because of the speed and making it more lethal, but I wouldn't use lightning so fast unless you have a great combination in mind, so be careful with that until you kill yourself in the meantime.

(Haisou no Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Flight of the Rain Dragons
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 40(-10 each turn to keep this jutsu in play)
Damage Points: 80
Description: After performing a long row of hand seals, the user makes a small cut on each of his or her ring fingers and raises his or her hands to the sky. Some of the user's blood raises up into the sky, apparently as a sacrifice. The clouds then begin to warp and form into several dragons. Once fully formed, each of the dragons is capable of emitting one spiral rain spear per turn. The dragons also act as alternate sources of rain.

You can of course, control these dragons and you can cause other rain technique's to emit out of the rain dragon while heading towards your opponent, so it's quite the handy technique and strong. Now cut your finger, and stitch it upwards and we'll see whether you'd be capable of taming the dragons yes or now.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i would send the large amount of ameton chakra behind the enemy. I use the rain chakra to condense all the raindrops surrounding that area to combine together to create a vortex of rain water. The rain water would spin around extremely fast with the use of chakra manipulation from ameton chakra, and then, i would use shape manipulation to shape it into a large tornado-like vortex made of rain drops that travel extremely fast according to where i want it to go.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); Okay i would create this behind the enemy, or somewhere to the sides where it wont be so obvious. Once they see it, it would be fully formed and the wind is probably going to be fairly strong. To power up this technique, i would use a wind technique (air current wild dance) to increase the speed the winds travel by and alltogether increase the spinning tornadoes which would make it stronger. Other than that, i could use lightning wave of inspiration to add it along which would be great because it can totally paralyze them.
  • Limitations of the technique; It cannot reach long range, i think so just by avoiding the technique by leaving mid-range area can be an easy counter. Also, you're not completely immune to your own technique and it can be used against you, so you would need to use it wisely.
  • How to counter the technique; I would create the Srank hardlining technique (earth) to whitstand the forces of the tornado. I could also use stone golem to tank it (S-rank) and even A-rank structures that is capable of shielding my body. And, like always, i can use stop rain ._.
  • Questions regarding the technique; Does it require constant chakra supply, or is it self sustaining? o-o
  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather a large amount of wind and water chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i send the ameton chakra in the clouds above me and manipulate the clouds to my liking, giving me the ability to shape it with shape manipulation. I would shape them into large dragons, made of clouds and use a constant supply of chakra to have them move about the battlefield. I use rain techniques with the use of clouds, so these dragons would release them while the raindrops fall from their body.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); Well, i would use this technique and have several dragons created on the battlefield. I would have one fly around to the back, while the rest would be in front where the enemy could see. This way, i could have that single rain dragon from behind them release rain release techniques where it is not visible to the enemy and the ones in front act as a distraction. I could also use them to attack with the spiral rain spear from all sides, attacking the enemy from any possible angle while i can distract them with kunais or sumthin.
  • Limitations of the technique; Requires a constant stream of chakra, i guess. and rain will not fall everywhere, so if you use rain tiger at will, you can only sense the areas the dragons cover.
  • How to counter the technique; I would counter this technique by sending a strong S-rank wind technique to the skies, easily dispersing the clouds and at the same time, stop the rain from falling to disrupt their combo.
  • Questions regarding the technique; Its the clouds that are dragons, not the rain, right?

Questions
1) No its self sustaining
2)yes the clouds are the dragons

(Kuro Ame no Jutsu) - Dark Rain Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40(-5 each turn after 3 turns have passed)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user forms the necessary handseals and the all the rain drops in the area becomes pitch black, they can be felt pouring down but would not be seen, and they would still be transparent. This is a very strong technique because as soon as this is done every technique the user create using this will be pitch black and the enemy will not see them coming

Do the hand signs and use your chakra to have all the rain drops become pitch black making them seem invisible to my clone but they will still be able to feel the rain. Then use any previous rain jutsu to attack my clone since she wont be able to see it coming.

(Suiton: Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Dragon Skill
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: powerful jutsu that's into motion the creation of a dragon made of clouds. the dragon itself is very powerful and adds a level of versatility previously unknown to rain-based techniques. The dragon swoops down from the sky and onto the battlefield. Not only is it capable of shooting a spiral rain spear from any point on its body once per post, but it is capable of directing a small rainstorm from its body. This allows rain techniques to be used from the dragon, and become more localized.

Use your chakra and create a dragon from the clouds and have it swoop down from the sky to shoot a spiral rain spear from any part of its body to hit my clone while at the same time small rain storms come from its body.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather water and wind chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra with the use of some handseals. Once i do that, i send it to each and every single one of the already present raindrops in the battlefield. Once i do that, i manipulate each and every one of the raindrops with my rain chakra to turn them into pitch black rain drops, making the battlefield appear to be dark.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would use this in an already dark battlefield, like at night time. This technique is great because it sets up for a ton of combinations. For one, i would create the dark rain behind the enemy, with a technique like rain daggers. This would be hard for them to see, especially with the black rain and since its behind them, where i can attack when they're vulnerable. This is also good because it may trick the enemy into thinking that they are under an illusion.
  • Limitations of the technique; You will not see the techniques coming that they send out and that it requires handseals
  • How to counter the technique; I would counter this technique by using stop rain technique, lol
  • Questions regarding the technique; None
  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i send it to the clouds, using my chakra to give me the ability to freely manipulate the clouds to my liking. With the use of shape manipulation, i shape them together to create a large dragon. I have it send out a spiral rain spear from its mouth towards your clone, while at the same time, have it continue to emit rain.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would have the rain dragon focus on the area around my enemy, so that it would be harder to notice that there is actual dragons appearing from the clouds. They will think that its normal rain when in reality, it would send out spiral spears of rain from its mouth while i can perform other techniques with the rain storms it emits. I can have it act as an easier way for rain techniques to travel by, like having them fall down from a closer area due to the dragons' ability to move
  • Limitations of the technique; It is only one dragon and cannot reach long range
  • How to counter the technique; Stop rain, like always z.z or an earth armor thats a-rank or above
  • Questions regarding the technique;No

Sorry for the delay :coffee:

(Kadou Tsunami no Jutsu) - Vortex Tsunami Technique

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts by combining his Water and Wind based chakra, and forming Rain based chakra. He then sends this chakra into the falling rain, and concentrates it at a single point. At this point, all the rain is brought towards it, pulling the rain cloud in. A swirling storm of water is formed, that blasts towards the opponent, destroying everything in its path.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -It's pretty bad ass, it can be combined with Wind to make it more fierce, or even use it when the opponent is constricted. Quite useful, and powerful at the same time.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -Can only be used up to Mid range, and can harm the user too.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -A very powerful Earth based armor or construct. Pretty difficult to counter at some points.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.
(Haisou no Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Flight of the Rain Dragons

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts off by combining his Water and Wind chakras, to form Rain chakra. He then forms a long series of hand seals, and cuts a small cut on his ring finger. He then lifts his hand into the air, where the blood of Dean rises as he sends his Rain chakra into the rain above. By manipulating said chakra, Dean forms it into several dragons as the clouds begin to warp at their creation. These dragons can blast out a single rain spear every turn, and act as alternative sources for Rain techniques.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -As it says in the description, it can acts as an alternative source of Rain, making it very useful in terms of Rain jutsu.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -The long row of hand seals, that need to be performed and also the blood sacrifice. All this takes time, which might not be available at that time. Not a very fast technique, in lay man's terms.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -One could basically just stop the rain with that Rain technique, that stops rain or the hardening technique that is S rank.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.
(Kuro Ame no Jutsu) - Dark Rain Technique

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts by combining his Water and Wind chakra, and forming Rain chakra. He then manipulates his Rain chakra, to form all the rain that is falling into a pitch black color. Greatly decreasing their visibility. Dean then focuses his Rain based chakra above Korra's clone, and forms it into a pillar of Rain. The pillar then drops down, unseen as it is black, and slams into the clone, dispersing her.

    Rank: A
    Type: Attack
    Range: Short-Mid
    Chakra cost: 30
    Damage Points: 60
    Description: The user focuses rain to form as a large pillar before high up in the rain, and also focusing on a point on the ground where it should land, the water pillar has a radius of 4 meters and is a powerful jutsu to give an upper advantage against the enemy, the pillar dissolves as it lands on the ground creating a shock wave of water

  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Basically every single Rain based technique can be enhanced with this, as it makes the Rain invisible to the naked eye. This greatly increases its chances of the technique actually hurting the opponent.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -Probably just the hand seals needed to form it, and it's only up to mid range.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -One could just stop the Rain when you see it disappear in terms of perception, but you still feel it.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.
(Suiton: Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Dragon Skill

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean creates his Rain based chakra by combining his Water and Wind chakra. He then sends this chakra into the sky, and manipulates it to form into a large dragon that swoops down from the sky. The dragon is capable of shooting a spiral rain spear from its body, and does so towards Korra's clone. The dragon also directs a small rainstorm from his body, towards the clone, dispersing it.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Another great technique, fast to form and can be used like a clone is used. As a distraction or as a primary offence.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -Just the fact that it is only up to mid range, and might take time to form.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -Once again, the Rain stop technique or an earth based armor. Not very easy to block, so it's quite handy.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.

(Rasen Yari no Kirinonai Kouu) - Endless Rain of the Spiral Spears
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: An advanced form of the Rain Spear that uses chakra to condense a large amount of rain water into one place to form spears of water in the clouds. The spears can at any time be called down to strike an opponent with only one hand-seal. Unlike its predecessor, these spears are made of constantly moving water that can actually cut an opponent. They also move in a corkscrew pattern that can be slightly manipulated. By widening or sharpening the turns, you can change where the spear will hit mid-technique. The water will stay in the form of spears for a short amount of time (2 turns). Any spears that are not used by that time it will fall uselessly as rain.

Use your chakra to condense a large amount of rain drops to form spears of water into the clouds and have the spears come down and strike my clone when you do the hand sign *shows you the hand sign* The spears should move in a corkscrew pattern and you should be able to control where the spears hit even in mid-technique.

(Kadou Boufuu no Jutsu) - Vortex Storm Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: A powerful high level jutsu that uses a great deal of chakra to pull down the storm clouds from the sky and place them around the user and enemy. The chakra that pulled down the clouds keeps them moving at high speeds so that neither the user nor enemy can escape. This jutsu in effect doubles the damage done by rain jutsu attacks and makes them more difficult to dodge. When this technique is used, the rain that comes from the clouds falls sideways, down, up, and near every direction, keeping enemies off balance.

Use your chakra and bring down the storm clouds from the sky so that they surround you and my clone. The clouds should be moving at high speeds and allow rain to come from every direction and use it to do any rain jutsu to hit my clone.

(Rasen Yari no Kirinonai Kouu) - Endless Rain of the Spiral Spears

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts off by combining his Water and Wind based chakra, to form Rain based chakra. He then manipulates this chakra, and sends it into the clouds above. He causes the rain to gather at a single spot, and condense into spears of rain. These spears come down, after Dean performs a hand seal, and moves down in a corkscrew type of movement. Dean then aims and hits Korra's clone with the spear.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -It's pretty handy, as it can be blasted down so fast, making it a great combination jutsu with jutsu that constricts the opponent. I see myself using it quite often, because it does not have a lot of hand seals to form.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -The condensing might take some time, and also alert the opponent that something is happening. It's also just till mid range, so that limits it a bit.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -Once you notice the Rain condensing up in the sky, you could use the Stop Rain technique, or just use an Earth based armor or overhead protection.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.
(Kadou Boufuu no Jutsu) - Vortex Storm Technique

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts off by combining his Water and Wind based chakra, and forming Rain chakra. He then uses this chakra to manipulate the clouds above, and pull them down towards himself and Korra's clone. The clouds come down, and spin around them with great speed, and allows Dean to use any Rain jutsu against the clone. He forms the hand seals, then by manipulating the Rain around the clone, Dean creates several small rain needles that he directs towards her blind spot.

    Rank: A
    Type: Attack
    Range: Short-Mid
    Chakra cost: 30
    Damage Points: 60
    Description: The user creates the necessary handseals and rain drops in an area of 20 meters around the user is able to turn into sharp water needles, these are relatively weak but can be directed towards an opponent.

  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -This is basically a very powerful jutsu, as it can be used as a basis for all rain techniques and it surrounds both the user and opponent, allowing you to create techniques from behind the opponent. It also doubles the damage done by the Rain techniques.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -The bringing down of clouds might take time, and well, is it possible the opponent could use this as a Rain source if they have rain? Also just till Mid range.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -You'd have to use an Earth armor as the Rain can come from any direction.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No, the question is up there ^ xD

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather water and wind chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i send it on the constantly falling rain drops. With the use of my chakra, i bind them together to gather at a single spot, above the target. I would shape it into several spears of rain, and with a handseal, it would fall to my target to attempt to hit them.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); It's a fast moving technique, so like what L said, using it with a jutsu that constricts will work really well. You can use it with a genjutsu that binds the opponent in place as well, and have it fall down on them before they can get out of range.
  • Limitations of the technique; When you condense the rain in one area, they would most certainly feel the change in rain pattern above them, and so they can react accordingly
  • How to counter the technique; Only canon counter i see is hardlining technique, once you notice the change in rain ofc, or you can use stop rain.
  • Questions regarding the technique;No
  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create rain chakra. Once i do that, i would send the chakra in the rain clouds and use my rain chakra to manipulate the clouds and have it come down, so low that it would cover the battlefield. I would proceed to use a rain jutsu. (the jutsu that L used bc im lazy to find another jutsu) A ton of rain needles from the clouds appear and attempt to skewer the target.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); This technique is used in battle by just activating it. lol, doubling any rain technique can allow you to make impressive and extremely powerful combos that happen right near your opponent.
  • Limitations of the technique; You're affected too
  • How to counter the technique; Earth armor (S-rank) or stop rain, ofc or blow away the rain clouds lol
  • Questions regarding the technique; None

Good both of you ^^ now for the last 3 jutsus

(Boufuu Kumo Kaigara) - Storm Cloud Shell
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A powerful technique that draws down a small portion of rain clouds and places them over the user like a full body shell. The clouds continue to produce rain, which allow the user to send out rain jutsu like the Rain spear from their body. This shell also defends against lightening jutsu, cutting their damage in half.

Draw the a small portion of clouds and place them all over your body giving you a full body sheel so that rain will fall from all over your body and than send out a rain spear at my clone.

(Ensan no Kouu) - Acid Rain
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40(-5 per turn to keep active)
Damage Points: -10 each turn or as long as the user has this jutsu in effect
Description: A powerful ninjutsu that laces the clouds with a large amount of poison elemental chakra to change the structure of the rain. The end result is a storm that does not rain water, but instead rains a powerful acid that can eat through most materials. Unfortunately, skin is not one of those materials. Instead of instantly eating through, it causes skin to instantly blister and slowly dissolve in a most painful way.

Change the property of the rain so it becomes acid like burning my clone's clothes and causing blisters to his skin.

(Touketsu Ame toraidento no Jutsu) - Frozen Rain Trident Technique
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: An advance version of rain trident where the user bounces the rain into the clouds.The higher up they go the more colder they get until they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail).

Create a rain trident but higher in the sky so it becomes frozen and than have it come down and hit my clone.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create rain chakra. I send my rain chakra throughout the clouds above and use my chakra to manipulate the clouds and have a large amount of clouds compress and cover my body. It will act as an armor, allowing me to send out rain techniques like a projectile while defending my body from lightning techniques.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would use this as an offensive/defensive action. By using it to defend against a lightning jutsu, i can easily follow up with rain techniques having them come outlike projectiles. I would use the smallest projectiles making it harder, and ic an even throw kunais as well to make it blend in. It allows me to throw it and have it meet the opponent faster as opposed to being sent out from the sky
  • Limitations of the technique; You'll be near water so you'll be vulnerable to lightning, ironically enough lol. And i personally think having it come from the sky makes it more... sneaky and hard to defend against
  • How to counter the technique; I would counter this technique by using some wind technique to cause the clouds to disperse, like air current wild dance or lower the ground so they cant attack me w/ rain
  • Questions regarding the technique; Nope
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I gather wind and water chakra and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i send that to the rainclouds and to each and every single one of the currently falling raindrops and perform nature transformation to change the nature of my ameton chakra into that of poison. This effectively changes the properties of water into poison and makes all the rain drops falling into poison.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would use this technique in battle to empower the rain techniques ill use and i can use the Moving earth core, S-rank to have it rise up extremely fast so they wont be able to move all that easily and it would be hard to react to the poison rain. I can also use bringer of darkness
  • Limitations of the technique; It can affect you as well
  • How to counter the technique; By using stop rain is the only counter, or an S-rank earth shield :p or just avoiding the rain in some other jutsus that creates a shield above you
  • Questions regarding the technique; Nope!
-=-=-=-=-=-

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique; I send wind and water chakra in the rain drops above my opponent and combine them together to create ameton chakra. Once i do that, i have the raindrops join together while rising up above the clouds, higher and higher until it freezes. I use my chakra to have it drop down with gravity and aim it at my opponents skull.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc); I would use htis technique in conjunction with techniques that stops my opponents movements like genjutsu customs or canons that paralyzes them or that at least, makes it hard for them to counter like using the moving earth core to rise them up super fast that it would be hard to move
  • Limitations of the technique; It can be easily dodged as long as its located
  • How to counter the technique; I would first locate it and use a lightning-based technique to destroy the ice since lightning > ice, or i can use that typical earth counter lol
  • Questions regarding the technique; Nope

(Boufuu Kumo Kaigara) - Storm Cloud Shell

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts by combining his Water and Wind chakra to create Rain chakra. He then sends this Rain chakra into the clouds, and manipulates it by drawing them towards himself. He places it onto himself, forming a shell of sorts on his body. Though these clouds keep producing rain, so Dean sends a rain spear towards Korra's clone from his own body.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -It's pretty cool, it defends against Lightning techniques, cutting damage up to half. It also allows the user to produce Rain Spears from their body.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -Rain Spears can only be shot up to mid range, one should probably maintain it which means one can't perform other jutsu while it's active.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -The shell itself doesn't really do anything, and the Rain Spears can be stopped with an Earth based defense or armor.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.
(Ensan no Kouu) - Acid Rain

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean creates Rain chakra through manipulating his Water and Wind based chakra. He then sends this chakra into the falling rain, and changes the properties of the rain, to that of a poison elemental rain, acidic in nature. This acidic rain causes blisters on Korra's clone.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -If one has the right defense, this can be used to blister your opponent's skin, but it can only be used at the right situation. Basically, only used when you know you won't harmed by the acid.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -I think the Acid also harms the user? Also just Mid range, and only causes blisters. So it isn't that fatal.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -One would have to have a powerful defense, I am not even sure if a normal Earth based armor would help.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -How does one defend against this? o-o
(Touketsu Ame toraidento no Jutsu) - Frozen Rain Trident Technique

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique;
    -Dean starts off by combining his Water and Wind based chakra, to form Rain chakra. He then sends this Rain based chakra into the rain, and sends it up higher and higher, and creates a Rain Trident extremely high in the sky, where it would freeze to due to extreme temperatures. The trident then descends towards Korra's clone with a great speed, and destroy her, dispersing her.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc);
    -Like the previous Trident technique, it's best used when the opponent is constricted, because it falls in a straight line and can't be manipulated to move. It can be also used at quite some speed because it is fast to perform, and requires no hand seals.
  • Limitations of the technique;
    -It falls in a straight line, and can't be manipulated remotely. It can also just be made up to mid range.
  • How to counter the technique;
    -When one feels the Rain collect in the sky above you, you can create an adequate defense which is an Earth armor or dome. The stop rain technique can also be used.
  • Questions regarding the technique;
    -No.
