Kurenai traps both in her Genjutsu like in P1 and while Itachi counters it and Kisame sits trapped in, rest lands killing blows.

I know it may sound too easy but Kurenai's Genjutsu works on multiple targets and doesn't even require eye contact.

Well it depends, what is Prime Itachi? A healthy Itachi that can use his MS perfectly doesn't exist, it is a creation of edo tensei, you must choose between sick and blind Itachi with susanoo, or young healthy Itachi that doesn't have MS experience.

I don't see team Akatsuki winning because Itachi's health, if you use edo itachi then akatsuki takes this low -med diff

Kisame knows of Hirudora being Taijutsu, so he can solo Gai, Asuma, and featless Genma.


Itachi solos Kakashi [his strongest tech is restricted, it'll end like Part I], Kurenai [solo'd like Part I], Ibuse [no Genjutsu will work on Itachi], and Yamato.

That's an hassle for team 2, but spirit weapons being restricted crosses that out.

Naturally Gai and Kakashi are biggest factors here. I see Gai maybe + 1taking on Kisame and rest leaded by Kakashi handling Itachi as a team.

Konoha jounins win high diff imo.

Actually her Genjutsu worked on Itachi - he just used Genjutsu reversal. But for some time, both Kisame and Itachi were trapped inside her Genjutsu world. Back then it was only Asuma and Kurenai - now that there are many more shinobi, they can easily take advantage of these several seconds and finish Itachi and Kisame off.

Yamato can impale Itachi (if Susanoo's defense is what you were refering to).

I'm not really convinced that he could evade that Yamato's technique I posted in another thread (you know which one).

There was a path in the middle of it so all he needs to do is be in that pathway to evade the actual constructs being made, or he'll block it with Susanoo since that isn't going to go under it and impale him like a root possibly could.

Kisame will water the fighting ground and keep swimming and surprisingly attacking. Itachi can take care of Yamato with a Genjutsu+Kunai to the head combination.
Asuma and Hiashi are both weak, they will fall for Kisame. Kurenai gets killed by the genjutsu-counter technique. The real problem here is Gai and Kakashi...You can see what happened to them in the first part of Naruto.

There was a path because he was rebuilding Konoha. There have to be some streets there ^^.
It's just a testament to his Mokuton prowess.
Ofc I'm not saying Itachi gets stomped by that but it is threatening after all if he decides to activate his Susanoo.

Asuma and Shikaku taken down in seconds by Itachi's genjutsu. Gai takes out Kisame after a long battle like in the manga, but is severely winded. Itachi proceeds to take on Yamato, Kakashi, and the winded Gai (come on, he matched KCM Naruto blow-for-blow and even at his weakest whilst holding back he was able to match CSM2 Sasuke who had also absorbed Orochimaru which allowed him to heal at an accelerated rate).
