kishi fails at developing female characters

. Don't know which side your on.. But just to let you know this whole real life biology doesn't apply to Naruto.....

Tsunade is easily the most physically strongest character in Naruto.

Tsunade is given the most retarded ability in the whole manga, and same goes for any other ninja who exhibits brute, raw strength. When the writer can't think of anything decent to portray, he goes for super-human strength women. It's such a useless and pathetic cliche. And I am on biology's side. Read my post first, it is in response to that person's made-up logics.

I think you have a somewhat valid point but Kishi has admitted that he is not good with female characters. He hasnt developed any one well except Kakashi IMO. Konan was bad ass. She managed to do considerable damage to Tobi which we had not seen anyone do except the 4th Hokage so Konan is Kage level. Therefore I disagree on your view of Konan.

Mei is kick ass and needs more screen time to show what she can do and why she is Mizukage. She did well against the black and white Zetsu.

Sakura needs more development and Kishi forgot to give her genjutsu abilities which he hinted to in the first series.

Ino is fine. She has shown some growth but is meant to be a level or two below Sakura and Kishi has stuck to that.

Hinata's development is only slightly sub par, Neji's development was far worse than Hinata's. Hinata waas able to hit Pain which few did.

Tsunade's battle with Madara showed us how tough she really is she can recover her self and he strength is insane. She still needs more but only bc Kishi put such an emphasis on her being the 1st Hokage's granddaughter.

Tenten... poor thing. Just as weak as she's always been.

Kurenai looks so bad ass, but again Kishi failed to seize the opportunity to have a kick ass female character. I would have played on her eyes being red and given her family some kind of rare bloodline limit that was equal to the byakugan only caused genjutsu and allowed them the ability to break most genjutsu excluding Tsukyomi and Shisui's genjutsu what ever its called and high level jutsu like frog song.

Temari is decent. She seems tough and uses her abilities well. She is consitent and thats good.

When we were introduced to Anko and were told how Oro wanted her, I really thought she must be something special, but that has not been shown. She should have been much more powerful and Kishi really dropped the ball on her.

Actually the situation is comparable to Bleach at the moment. Naruto is supposed to end in a year or something like that, and Bleach even faster, but the moment the author decides to end his manga, he has a lot of unfinished character development,...

Off topic:
According to what I've heard Bleach is supposed to last little longer, up to 5 years.
It got quite interesting recently and opened A LOT of room for more character development and PLOT development.
I've you stopped reading Bleach because some arcs were really disappointing> the poor times are over! :y
It is definetely worth to be checked out again!

I read Naruto for other purposes and I still like it. xd

mei - abilities are OP but kishi makes it look way weaker when its actually powerful jutsu

tsunade - she just recent got her development against madara but she still useless/weak (compared to male characters)

sakura- her last development was sasori....nearly 350 chapters since her last development.....beyond horrible job done by kishimoto

hinata - she trained with neji but we still dont know what she is capable of, she got owned in 2 seconds by pain...once again bad development

temari - gets small developments but she just as useless as k11 girls

anko - she disappears and then pop up every 100 chapters when kabuto/oro appears, shes useless too

konan- she had no development, she hurt obito but only because she had prep time to set up her 600 billion paper bombs, shes just nagato's useless teammate...she adds nothing to the story just the obito fight

kurenai- she got pregnant and disappeared ever since (its obvious why but im just sayin)

ino - she has her mind transfer jutsu but its useless without her teammates helping her, once again another useless female character

ten ten - absolutely no development at all, even in part 1, she was just neji's hype-man lol

maybe....just....maybe...this has to do something with the culture surrounding the manga.

Oh I am reading Bleach bro, and yeah it has become more interesting now, but as I said in my last post, the reason for that, is that the author is now using all his remaining ideas for character development. All at once, and the author said that this arc, is the final arc of Bleach. I don't know, what you've heard, but I doubt Kubo has changed his mind.
Just like Kishi said, he wants to work on something new, and he already has many great ideas. At some point you can't find more ideas for the current story, and it's better to let it end. I bet if Bleach doesn't end after this arc, it will become really bad, and it will most likely go on a monthly release..
