Red: Yes, and? Compared to the other Kage and
especially the Hokage before her, she's nothing to be impressed over.
Blue: What's your point? Does this make her a super strong, overpowered female? No, all we know about her is that she sealed the Kyuubi inside of her. We have
zero knowledge on her other strengths, capabilities and powers. The fact that you have to go and pick a female character that has only been mentioned a few times in the entire manga to defend your stance just proves my point :/
Bold: And
you have yet to rebuke
anything I have just stated. What do backstories have to do with ranking and combat capabilities? I wonder who's grasping at straws here
Compaired to the 5 kages, she is the second strongest, Raikage being the strongest because of his lightingspeed and ability to keep up with someone like Minato.
That's pretty damn good, if you ask me.
Actually, 5-second-memory, I mentioned the reasons for Mito's acknoweldgement, because you asked for it, after I said she was acknowledged by Madara.
But yes, it does make her strong, in fact; Being the first known Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi, is a very important role.
We haven't seen her abilities, but with some common sense you can make a good estimation,.. at least if you followed Naruto.
Also it's pretty much implied, since she was the 9T's host.
Backstories have to do something with character development in women, the subject this thread was about.
Their connection with ranking and combat is that you can make a very accurate estimation of how important, or powerfull this character will be.
Killer Bee's backstory on becoming a host, added to his relation with Naruto (development), and gave some insight on how strong he was. (ranking+combat)
