I made this matchup like a week ago and it got 5 pages. I belong to the school of thought which declares Kisame the winner.

did you restrict placing seals on things? Minato has FTG Kunai ONLY

Meaning they aren't made of chakra. Its that simple. It doesn't matter why they weren't visible.

Going by this, Kisame won't be able to absorb it until it is too late. But the seals cannot be absorbed.

Well Minato has to put his chakra in while there still close to his chakra network? Before he throws them on kunai? Lml Kisame will be able to render them usless perfectly

Seals can't be absorbed nor are they made of chakra. Don't know how people came to that conclusion as it was never even remotely implied in the manga. Anyway, Kisame wins with the restrictions.

Minatos seals are a curse mark, they can't be absorbed.

What the hell is this?

Samehada erasing minato's ftg seals? Not even Juubito could get rid of Tobirama's inferior seals, and he's the flipping Juubi jinchuriki with the ability to just negate not just chakra but ninjutsu all together. Kisame's not in the same tier as Minato, minato throws a kunai, kisame blocks it or deflects it with samehada and he gets his head blitzed off.

Kisame shits. Minato only offensive tech is basically Rasengan which isn't enough to put Kisame down and can be absorbed on contact when Kisame absorbs Samehada.

Ftg can't be absorbed but the chakra connection it has through Minato can to the point of deemed useless. once that's absorbed Minato cannot teleport through his ftg.

When has samehada absorbed any jutsu immediately when it comes into contact with the sword? And really, Goodness gracious.

All that scan shows is that it requires chakra to teleport to the tag, it doesn't mean that the chakra used for teleporting manifests anywhere near the tag. Juubito could literally erase not just chakra but ninjutsu, and yet he couldn't stop Tobirama from warping to him, yet someone like kisame who only has the ability to absorb chakra, not even ninjutsu is going to do what juubito couldn't? Heck no.

Name Minato's other offensive feats besides Rasengan.

@Bold- That absolutely make no sense what so ever. Juubio never tried to erase the tag seal now did he? Also once Samehada is absorbed Minato has no way of putting Kisame down and that's a fact.

Uh, what? That's not how it works, don't know where this came from. Don't even know where the Danzo thing came from. There are no chakra in his seals, there is nothing hard to understand about that.

Lol. The main point of Fuuin even existing is to seal chakra or some objects somewhere. In order for Minato to be able to teleport to kunai, there has to be his chakra sealed in there.

But on the other hand, since chakra is sealed - it cannot be absorbed before it had been unsealed. At least that's how it should work imo.

Except Hiraishin isn't a sealing jutsu. The formula isn't being used to seal something or someone away, its being used for Minato as a marker. So no, his chakra doesn't need to be in there. The official term for the mark is "Technique Formula". Its not a seal nor is Hiraishin a sealing jutsu. So that isn't how it works.

I don't really feel like going through all the chapters right now, but iirc Hiraishin markings were refered to as seals. Moreover, the only thing in NV that makes ninja stand out compared to normal people is their usage of chakra. I see no other way of Minato/Tobirama/Konoh squad 'marking' others with a single touch of a palm if not with chakra and use of some Fuuinjutsu. Or are you suggesting that they have hidden little hands on their palms that magically draw kanji on their foes during contact?

Pretty sure they weren't...either way, it doesn't change the fact that Hiraishin isn't sealing jutsu. Nor does the bold mean that there is chakra inside the Hiraishin markings. At most it means that you need to spend chakra to place the marking on anyone.

-Kamui's vortex isn't made of chakra, Kakashi and Obito use up chakra to activate it.

-Shinra Tensei costs chakra, but the repulsive forces themselves aren't chakra.

I don't know where this "Hiraishin markings have chakra" came from, but it was never stated or implied in the manga. Everyone just assumed that. Incorrectly assumed anyway....

Even if it was a seal, Naruto's seal isn't visible on his stomach unless his chakra is flowing through it, meaning there is no chakra in the sealing marks itself.

That's why Kamui and ST aren't Fuuinjutsu. The whole concept of Fuuinjutsu is to seal something already existing in something. Ninjutsu on the other hand creates things.

The point is - if Hiraishin marking is a Fuuin, it has to contain let's say Minato's chakra. If it isn't, then it probably doesn't, but in that case - how would Minato be even able to teleport to it?
