It's sad +rep to ya and kisame is way underrated . Kisame with out samehada doesn't matter kisame is still powerful
I feel 's strength is more or less underrated even though the manga has clearly stated that kisame is possibly the strongest character in naruto. Now when i talk about strength, im talking about pure strength.
Im not talking about tsunade/'s chakra precision punches and kicks. Nor am i talking about sm naruto/jiraiya.
Im talking about a characters strength without the need of any ninjutsu/chakra what so ever.
In this first image, youd see kisame hit samahada on the ground with one hand with not much effort at all, yet look at what it did to the ground. Also take into consideration that samahada isnt exceptionally hard

Kisame after being captured, prisoned by yamato's wood he still had enough strength to totally trash that wood technique. Now if you noticed yamato said 'i thought i had his chakra's in check with that mokouton but he's still too strong'. This clearly shows that his strength has nothing to do with chakra. Even after yamato claimed to have it in check. he still broke free due to his pure strength feat.
I said no because from what I saw from the 3rd raikage, I'd put him as the strongest naruto character. the 4th might be stronger too, but I think Kisame is definitely up there. Nice thread

Your thread asks if Kisame is the strongest of all characters in Naruto. The simple answer is no. If you named the thread, " is Kisame the strongest character in Naruto without the use of any power,Biju,sharingan/rinnegan/technique/eight gates etc etc" then the answer would probably have been maybe but what about the 3rd and 4th Raikage?
To be the strongest is to take into account the person as a whole and not just physical strength without the aid of powers,which is what you are actually doing. Simply put, Guy is stronger than Kisame, as he beat him with his 7 gates open(beat him badly I might add) this is a power that Guy gained and as such is part of his arsenol and total strength.
Bee would probably have beaten Kisame if it hadn't been for the whole teacher and Ponta thing and the fact that Bee was holding back as he didn't want to let the Hachibi go nuts and give him away. That said, Kisame did win that fight.
Kisame is super strong, but we know little about his Jutsu so can't say what sort of powers he activates to gain strength. Do NOT forget also, the simple fact that the reason Kisame has Biju-like chakra is due in part to Samehada. He takes the chakra of others, which is how he managed to beat Bee,not because he was stronger. He does display extraordinary strength but that said, in Naruto, everyone has special characteristics which make up their strength.

and regarding the Gai beat Kisame thing, wasn't that only a clone like version of Kisame which only had 30% of his actual power? So in that regard, Gai actually didn't beat him badly considering he had to open the 7th gate to defeat an opponent who was at 30%.

he used samahada to prove his point,saying kisame has raw physical strength becoz of how he used it against asumaU_U,i just wanted to point out that they is some one who has used it including 6 swords(to be able to use samahada and 6 other powerful swords u have to have raw strenght more than kisameU_U)

Yet he has been dead for a while now, while as that Kisame died right BEFORE the War even began....hmm yeah I doubt that he was the "strongest" in the whole clan, because that was at a past time.
