not completely true.. I used rasenshuriken because they are both s-rank techniques.. A simple wind rasengan is just a A-rank.

Kirin requires there to be a thunderstorm available. Thus too much prep. Also, if you remember Preta Path absorbed Naruto's natural energy and turned into a frog. So it is safe to say that Preta path could absorb it.

I believe it is. Not many jutsu can stop it once it's preped up.
There are maybe 1 or 2 jutsu that are more powerful than it though.

Flaws of Jinton you can dodge it, or use Preta Path to absorb it. Making it less inferior to other jutsu's.

Flaw of Kirin is its a One Time shot only. ANYONE with an "Ultimate Defense" would survive this easy and leave the user open for counter attack.

Plus, its actually NOT that strong. Itachi Sussano was able to block it, while Tsunade's KICK broke through Madara's Sussano.

I think Madaras meteor is stronger altogether. No prep time and unstoppable unless you can fly and have weightless rock jutsu. Even if one has that there is no prep time so you can meteor the meteor etc. Thats better than a fast one shot imo

All susano users (just like itachi) If they're fast enough.

All earth release users who can coat their body with stone (earth > raiton, and earth/soil armor will connect earth with the human and the lightning would go into earth, this process is called earthing ) No, it goes water>fire>wind>lightning>earth>water. Therefore, you are wrong.

hence kirin is not the most powerful jutsu. But it is still second best most powerful raiton jutsu after hellstab.

1.Itachi sensed kirin coming so he prepared his susanoo so it proves with keen reflexes and good defense it can be tanked

2.Kirin couldnt penetrate susanoo and weak and sick itachi still could move and summon susanoo again

3.even hirudora, tusnade's punch , mei's lava, gara's sand etc penetrated susanoo but not kirin but kirini is not O.P

4.TBB has more blast radius and power than kirin

5. The time kirin takes to activate is enough to kill sasuke unless the opponent is involved in talk no jutsu

6. even if kirin is activated it can kill minato, tobi etc with space time ninjutsu

7. once kirin was activated it didint killed itachi instead it wasted all of sasuke's chakra so its fatal to user itself

hence in conclusion kirin is the worst jutsu existing

Also cannot be absorbed since it's not created by chakra. It's natural lightning... And the Narutoverse very loosely still follows some laws of physics.

Kakashi only cut a SINGLE bolt with Raikiri.... I doubt he'd survive trying to cut an entire Kirin. Just saying though, he'd get incinerated before cutting the entire Kirin down....

Only an ultimate defense or unnatural speed + reaction time can hope to counter it.


Obviously Dust Release would be much more powerful, it's three combined elements Fire, Earth, & Wind... It's common sense.

No. Tsukuyomi --> Inifinite Tsukuyomi, Kotoamatsukami, Dust Release, Hirudora, and Kamui are all superior.
