Kirin, the most powerful jutsu ever?

It is not the most powerful jutsu ever..

Kirin is a lightning technique.. Lighting is inferior to wind.. Which means in actuality, rasenshuriken is superior or stronger than kirin..

not necessarily......thats just speculation......not that i'm saying rasenshuriken isnt stronger we just dont know yet

There are so many techniques that stomp Kirin in terms of both power and usefulness...
Kamui, Amaterasu, Dust release, Chibaku tensei, bijuudama...

Application wise many jutsu has an edge:

That Meteor Jutsu . . . Kirin Just destroyed about 98% of a big building, but that Meteor changed a landscape.

Nativity of world Trees . . . . Can send a Kirin User to sleep before he can cast it (unless he has intel and can fly)

Shrinra Tensei . . . Same effect but less prep time

Susano ..... Basic complete Susano can tank it let alone a perfect one.

Beam form TBB...... Much faster and less prep time

Edo Tensei . . . Cant kill an Edo can u?

Raikage could dodge this? I dont think so, the blast radius is massive, unless he is faster the the speed of light.
To the point:

With that having been said that is like 20x faster than the Raikage at full speed. Even about 5x faster than Raikage with Onoki's Light Weight Technique.

R.1*Even Sharingan cannot pick up such fast speeds.

So technically, because its speed is far faster than Sharingan can react to it, nobody, and I mean nobody can stop this. *Itachi being the exception here by plot means*

As for Rinnegan's Preta Path, I'm sure it won't be able to absorb this because it isnt chakra, its raw lightning.

Lightning speed, destructive power, this 2 factors make it a unstoppable jutsu.

Flaws:

Its the preparation of the jutsu, every jutsu has its flaw. But once this jutsu launches, believe me there is no stopping it, as it is way to fast to even wave a single seal.

Kirin is far from being the most powerful jutsu.

Itachi's Incomplete Susanoo took Kirin head on and Itachi was only knocked down, he wasn't hit by the blast.

Complete Susanoo and above can tank Kirin with no kind of damage to the user.

all Edo
All rinnegan users (pretha path absorbs it)
All susano users (just like itachi)
All S/T users ( maybe not tobirama coz we haven't seen his s/t yet)
All earth release users who can coat their body with stone (earth > raiton, and earth/soil armor will connect earth with the human and the lightning would go into earth, this process is called earthing )
All the people who can create raiton armour around themselves ( lightning can't penetrate itself)

hence kirin is not the most powerful jutsu. But it is still second best most powerful raiton jutsu after hellstab.

Kirin's prep time. No one is just going to stand there and watch Sasuke prep this jutsu. Once it is fired, I doubt anyone will be able to dodge it (except maybe Minato, as his FTG is instant) Tobi's Space Time technique takes a little time to teleport him completely, so he might get hit. Got off track there... the point is, Sasuke would get blitzed trying to prepare Kirin. In fact, thats probably why Itachi was quick enough to activate Susano. He saw Sasuke preparing Kirin, and acted

There are stronger, and more useful/convenient lighting techniques. I think the 3rd Raikage's finger technique is the strongest lightning technique. It can kill anyone, and pierce even his incredibly durable body. Partnered with his speed, and its flexibility, it is very deadly. I also think that Kakashi's Raikiri is stronger than Kirin. It is said to cut lightning after all It can also be used multiple time whereas Kirin is a one-shot kind of thing, and Raikiri can kill with one hit if it is landed correctly. Both jutsu are far more useful and adaptable than Kirin, and they both require little prep time.


Outside of lightning style, techniques like Jinton techniques have less prep time, are more versatile, and have a much larger AOE while still doing damage equal to or greater than Kirin.

All in all, Kirin isn't really that great

I think the Raikage can but I'm not so sure about Tsunade.
