This guy is literally starting to make me think he's a Troll from LOTR , seriously dude is literally denying the manga itself to support his own baseless argument smh..

No, if his hand is in the same position it is when he palmed her chest then there's no reason why his hand would be flat parallel to the ground. It'd be flat perpendicular to the ground.
lmaoo ima just sit her and watch. FT boy you better not try and come for the OG. Back back fam, before I hit you with that Tayuya.
I'm not agreeing with your assertion nor I'm agreeing with neosmith500's, either. I'm just sceptic about this. It is true Gentle Fist can't be channelled to non-Chakra objects (headband), unless the Chakra channelled from Neji was lethal enough to bypass it; we don't see any damage on the headband, though.
Chakra cannot be channeled through solid objects with no entry paths. Unless the chakra is prominent enough to make its own (PHYSICALLY). That would show like you said damage on the headband. This makes absolute sense.
Can chakra differentiate? I don't think chakra has a mind of its own though.. The manga has always placed emphasis on chakra control.. meaning the chakra does what you want it to do.
Medical ninjas use mystical palm technique to heal by sending chakra into the wounded parts. But just because it's going into the wounded part doesn't mean it's going to go into the entire body system.

^^This guy doesn't even know that Jyuken doesn't have to directly hit a vital in order to reach it which is how Neji was able to damage MULTIPLE Organs in Kido's body through a string with one shot and its exactly the same thing he did to Hinata when he struck her Headband..
I take anime portrayal with a grain of salt. I've seen a user named Zexion I believe using the same method of anime portrayal, and it is absolutely terrible to use in a sense that in the manga it's a palm strike.
Even if we use that anime clip. Notice how it emphasizes on her heart! Which would further support my claim that Neji did indeed attack open palmed. Heart attack symptoms include: vomiting. She did vomit blood.
Alright. The Anime's depiction isYou must be registered for see linksbut i'm really leaning towards what Neo, KG and FT are saying simply because based on Hinata's standing position:

It's impossible for his arm to be flat on her chest without him twisting hs arm to the left. If what the Naruto-Forum's member is saying was correct then Neji would need to have at least done this much for the remainder of his palm to be in contact with her chest, physically then there's the shadow of his inner palm on her top which should not be there if the palm was indeed laying flat on her chest and if he was correct about the web he'd have to prove that Neji's chakra traveled outside the web, back down to the opening and then inserted itself from that point which is something he cannot do and against that is the Manga's portrayal of Neji's palm up close and his chakra seeping through the exterior of the web. The next question being, since Hinata's headband and the external of Kidoumaru's web are around the same thickness, how can we be sure that it would pass through the thickness of Kidoumaru's bone composites.
A Ninja controlling the distance to which their Chakra extends is fine however are you saying that they can passively differentiate whether or not their chakra is in contact with two different objects even if they are made from the same material?

Chakra cannot pass through solid objects without an entry way. The ONLY OTHER possible reasoning, as to how the chakra passed through into Hinata is through the cloth on the ninja headband:
Everyone here knows that cloth has small micro fibers that allows air to filter through, chakra would do the same:

If you're referring to me, then my opinion is fixed that Neji beats Kimmimaro, but I'm agreeing his point on the headband.
LOTR? Lord of the rings? xD
Btw, where Neji struck is it the heart? iirc, the heart is by the side and Kishi knows this as he illustrated in Sasuke's genjutsu on Sakura and Kakashi's Chidori to the side of Rin not down the middle?
What is this a shadow of?

Now i know ur reaching , why bring that scan rather than bring the exact scan where he directly struck her headband on the the LEFT.

[/SPOILER]
Probably chakra being channeled into Neji's targeted position. Eg; The cloth at the bottom of the headband.

You do know Shadows are formed by objects that do not allow light to pass through?
Also, what is the canonical substance supporting small microfibers in the cloth which allows air to filter through being the medium by which Neji's chakra damaged Hinata's organ? or is this something you're simply speculating because you do not want to believe that the Chakra went through her physical headband?
