Okay I see your point. The mist will start leaking out from the area and dissipating because unlike hidden mist, acid mist has a tendency to spread out through osmosis and diffusion. Didn't think of it this way but I do wonder what causes the hidden mist jutsu to violate osmosis and diffusion. Though you must agree that the acid mist will be most potent near the caster of the jutsu and if Mei pumps in more acid mist and doesn't stop like she did against Sasuke, she could keep up the damage on Kimi for some time allowing her to catch Kimi off guard with lava.Because Hidden Mist does not escape in ways like Futton does [You must be registered for see links]. So Hidden Mist=/=Futton.
InHence real world physics is often disregarded in manga logic. And no, it wouldn't. His eyes would go blind from acid, and he'd be in a shit load of pain from it. Yet no signs of any of that, and no signs of his cornea dissolving (which would be the fastest process since it's made of protein). Clearly, and indubitably no damage to his eyes, unless you can prove otherwise. And that'll be hard with no pain, no damage, no effect on his sight, etc.

, only Sasuke's one arm is shown melting while everywhere else there are no signs of being melt. Does that mean acid mist can only melt arms and nothing else? Most certainly not. Does acid mist have the tendency to spread out? Yes it does like you posted a scan of it spreading out. So what makes it so hard for you to believe it does damage elsewhere, which includes his eyes. The fact that Sasuke ended up blind after the ordeal much faster than other MS users and the fact that he did suffer from eye pain in the fight with Mei actually doesn't refute the diluted acid mist having an effect on his eyes. There is blood coming from Sasuke's mouth (

). Unlike Itachi, Sasuke didn't have a sickness where he'd cough up blood. Tsunade, whose also shown regeneration, was still suffering from the effects of damage, causing her fighting style to become sloppier and hence her speed as well (Yes, which is the first layer of his body (seems to have skin which is composed of bone).

). The same should happen to Kimimaro regardless of his "regeneration" which is obviously not anywhere near Tsunade's level. Well when Mei used her mist against Madara, it was meant to slow down Madara's reaction, allowing Ay and Onoki to blitz him but they could still make out Mu and Madara's positions just fine. Not to mention Kimimaro will still makes sounds such as grunts, groans, etc. much like Sasuke, Sakura, Itachi and Tsunade have done when exposed to acid in the first two cases or fire in the second two cases.Doesn't matter, she won't be able to do anything if she's put up the mist. She can't see him after he's out of her vision, period. Puts his hands and the bones emerge. She still won't know his location, and she still won't know what's happening beneath the ground, let alone bones occurring.
I don't believe he'd be able to dodge it pretty easily under the conditions I've outlined but I hate to repeat myself. There is also the fact that Mei spits out the lava out of her mouth so she can move around her aim. TheEvilOne brings up a good point as well. Spreading yoton around the battlefield hinders Kimimaro's movements as he'll be constantly having to watch his step but doing all this while under the effects of the mist and then having to avoid Mei's lava attacks will prove to be too much for him. I've also outlined speed feats from the lava in my posts to Killua Zoldyk.I believe it would melt him pretty easily but he can dodge it pretty easily too. And nah it doesn't matter.
