Yeah, it was a good explanation
I'll probably have to demonstrate, sooooo....
*I pull my sword behind me, just like with the stab*
*I take a step with my left foot, with the sword still behind me*
*I take a step with my right foot and lunge the sword out as I take the step*
xd You're catching on.
Next, we'll do the two-handed variant of the horizontal slash. Like the horizontal slash, it can be done either of the two ways I have shown you previously, but you will use two hands (again, think of it as holding a baseball bat.)
Two-handed slashes are much more powerful than one-handed slashes, but they are not without their drawbacks:
Two-handed strikes do not allow certain movements to be made, as you have both arms on your blade, and one arm is most likely cutting across your chest.
They offer more power and speed, but often lack a certain finesse needed for difficult combos, but that can be overlooked with experience and transitions between one-handed and two-handed moves.
Now, please preform the horizontal slash, with two hands.
Please be descriptive, as it will allow me to correct any flaws in your form, or your notion as to how the slash is specifically executed.
