( Katon: Hi no Iki ) - Fire Release: Fire Breath
Strong points
- โ Burns the target on impact -
- โ Requires no hand seals and can reach up to mid-range -
- โ Since itโs a stream released from the mouth, the user and aim his head where the target is at -
Weak points
- โ Requires the user to constantly feed the stream chakra -
- โ Jutsus in the form of a stream can be easy to counter -
- โ Pretty basic technique -
Combinations-strategies
A stream technique, I could use an earth technique to trap my opponent and then send this stream of fire at him. I could use the previous fire technique, flam pillar and use this technique while my opponent is vulnerable in the air.
Ways to counter this technique
Sending a stream of water right at the stream of fire will counter this technique. Calling forth a wide wall of earth or water will also prevent me from the stream of fire. I could summon a clone and have him attack my opponent while he is feeding the stream chakra while I perform a counter.
Questions
( Katon: Honoo no Heki ) Fire Release: Flame Wall
Strong points
- โ Can withstand physical attacks, good to use against taijutsu users-
- โ Requires no hand seals, only a swing of the arm -
- โ Can also withstand projectiles and push the target of the jutsu back -
Weak points
- โ Can only be performed from short range -
- โ Only covers the users front so a quick opponent can send jutsus at the opponents blind -
- - Insert info -
Combinations-strategies
If my opponent is dashing in to perform taijutsu, I could perform this jutsu to push him back and burn him. If my opponent is sending in normal weapon or wind based projectiles, I could use this technique to counter them. This jutsu is primarily used for defensive purposes, so I cannot think of too many combinations.
Ways to counter this technique
Sending forth a wave of water at the wall can get rid of it. I could summon a clone and have it maneuver behind my opponent and send jutsus at his open back while I counter the wall. I could also use a water technique that forms beneath my opponent and rises into a dome while he is expecting physical attacks.
Questions
( Katon: Hinotama no Mai ) - Fire Release: Fireball Dance
Strong points
- โ User can direct a few slashes anywhere they please with their sword -
- โ Fireball comes from above which may catch an opponent off guard -
- โ Requires no hand seals and a skillful sword wielder can perform this technique rather quick -
Weak points
- โ Requires a few slashes for the set-up -
- โ Requires a sword which a user may not have included in their bio -
- โ Quick opponent has time to evade one of the slashes -
Combinations-strategies
I could start off by using some taijutsu or kenjutsu techniques then breaking onto this one. Once I send the fireball down at the opponent, if I have enough air I could send another jutsu that requires the user to be in the air down at my opponent. I could cast a genjutsu to temporarily immobilize my opponent giving me enough time to move in for the technique.
Ways to counter this technique
I could use the wind stream technique or any other similar technique to push myself away from the sword slashes and the fireball. If I can manage to recover in time, I could send a sphere of water at the fire right when the user releases it.
Questions
( Katon: Yugana Honoo ) - Fire Release: Graceful Flame
Strong points
- โ Like the similar technique, can burn the targets feet, slowing down his movement -
- โ Opponent is vulnerable once they are in the air -
- โ Requires no hand seals from the user -
Weak points
- โ A stream requires the user to constantly feed it chakra and the stream will disperse if you fail to do so -
- โ Can only be performed from short range -
- โ Like most stream techniques, jutsu can be easily countered -
Combinations-strategies
I could use the earth technique mudshot or a wind technique to kick dust into my opponents eyes, giving me the opportunity to perform this jutsu. Using a jutsu that forms above my opponents head should take his attention off of whats going on in front of him and his feet, so I could quickly use this jutsu. While in the air, the opponent is vulnerable for me to send any jutsu at him. Maybe using a lightning jutsu while he is in the air to paralyze him will give me the chance to move in for the kill.
Ways to counter this technique
Simple technique means simple counters. I could aim a water jutsu at my feet to protect them from the flames. I could call forth a wave of water at the stream or a wall of earth in front of me to block. A quick genjutsu technique before the flames reach my feet should break my opponents concentration which means the stream will disperse.
