There were Jews and other “non-aryans” from occupied and opposing countries that were in the Nazi army as well, that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t have been enslaved and/or executed after the war. I'm actually curious about where you heard this news from and how this very large and specific number of Hondurans came to be. I'm assuming this has to do with the caravan? Cause if that's the case i don't think there's anything to discuss aside from the purpose of borders.

I took his statement as referring to mental slavery.

Implying blacks are still slaves today, not physically but mentally and that that mental slavery was in part the reason blacks were physically slaves for as long they were.

I don’t see how so many people are having trouble understanding what the man said.

Saying that mental slavery was in part of the reason black were physically slaves is still saying that slavery as a whole is a choice. He clearly said that 400 years as a slaves sounds like a choice. And Kanye doesn't seem to realize that there were over 200 known slave rebellions which all failed. So his statement, all in all, is not true and ignorant.

I think people that want to be offended will infer what they need to in any given statement so as to achieve their goal of being offended.

Considering his comments lately have revolved around the issue of free thinking and particularly the tweet that got this going, saying he liked the way Candace Owens thinks is enough for me to reasonably infer that context because it ties in well with the rest of what hes been saying.

On the other hand to make a random comment out of no where that black slaves made a choice to hop on boat and become slaves for 400 years doesnt match up to anything that i’m aware of him saying and I find that interpretation of his comment to be simple minded and thoughtless.

His statement only proves his ignorance on the topic and the only discussion forming out of it is having to straighten out the facts from the alternative facts of an issue that should already be common knowledge.

Kanye has been proven to be unhinged by saying things without purpose or research. He's a cultural icon and his words can influence people and if he continues to profess falsehoods, then people will believe those falsehoods and the cycle of ignorance and misinformation continues.

I'm not saying he has no right to say these things. But he shouldn't be defended by apologists or excused for what he says. What you say matters and words have consequences.

it's isen't even 400 years even if we still had slaves today, there wore slaves for 150-ish years, there isen't a single person that was a slave back then that is alive today. But that doesn't mean you should just forget or rewrite history, but on the other hand maybe don't claim there is a slave culture when there clearly isn't anymore, there might be a few hundred thousand/a few million racists left, but that's it, so maybe it's time to outgrow the slave mentality and look ahead to try and improve the future instead of wanting justice (vengence) for the past.

People claim it's free thinking because they look at the people vocal on the left (the regressive left that want to get rid of free speech) and go well the left is clearly not for free speech so what choise do i have when i feel there is nothing more imporant than the right to be able to speak my mind?

Honestly i think it's alot more likely that those poor minority people are being declined lones because they are poor than because they are minorities do to a country wide conspiricy to deny loans to poor people of color... it's not like poor white people are getting access to loans either...

The average white people are part of the middle class and the middle class is at the poverty line or under it yet they don't get affirmative actions because those go to people of color every single year you see white people that are more qualfied to go to collage yet getting skipped because people of color squising by them with a lower average on their test scores. (i know this and im not even american, i never even been on that continent...)
