Being intangible doesn't stop the Genjutsu caster from seeing Obito's eyes; nor does it stop Obito from seeing the Casters eyes; Actually, the fact that Obito can see the caster's eyes and vice versa while being intangible simply means that light clusters from the casters eyes are being collected by light receptors within Obito's eyes, reflected on his Retina and these electrical signals are processed further, and then travel from the retina of his eye to the brain through the optic nerve allowing Obito to see and this is the method by which people who are not intangible in the NV are able to see and the method by which Genjutsu (ocular?) takes effect meaning that the fact that he's intangible makes no difference----thus eye contact is established and he can be caught. ​

Apparently, all Chakra leaves your body when you're intangible despite the fact you need Chakra to stay in that state. How stupid can people in this forum be?

Obito better hope he doesn't get caught in a Genjutsu...because Kamui is useless against Genjutsu.

So he can stay in that state all he wants, but the chakra is going to be in a different world entirely.

Genjutsu would affect him because kamui is automatic upon 'PHYSICAL' contact, genjutsu aint physical and the fact that obito somehow needs to see

The parts of his body that overlap with something else are sent to the other dimension. The chakra that is sent into his brain during a genjutsu isn't overlapping with him either.


I wouldn't say Genjutsu overlaps with his body...so I highly doubt Kamui's phasing would prevent him from being caught in a genjutsu. I guess unless something is overlapping with his head (Since his head would be in his dimension as long as this object is where his head is supposed to be)
