Kakuzu vs Jiraiya

and what makes you think that jiraiya's summon will just stand there/won't fight back/block ?? ....... and what makes you think that jiraiya himself will be COMPLETELY defenseless when entering SM ?? did you watch his fight against pain ....... you just made a BOSS summon sound useless/weak lol

Although even if he were to be caught his hearts would still fight on, in fact the fire+wind heart's could harden the dark swamp, allowing Kakuzu to break free .. Similar to that trap those 3 anbu did in the pain arc ( if needed i could get a scan

Ehh this would be very close. Gamaken is the most agile toad with great taijutsu. He could hop, hop, and hop until Jiraiya gets into SM then he wins mid diff or Kakazu's hearts get a lucky shot in and kill Gamaken then Jiraiya is toast.

i'd also like to point out that in SM he still has nothing to breach Domu and Kakuzu has a few counters to Frog song, especially in this location

can't one simply concentrate their chakra towards their feet and walk on top of it, as they do with water?! I don't see why not, especially since this jutsu has only been used against snakes.

Regular water has no ones chakra in it. Swamp of the Underworld has Jiraiya's chakra inside of it so no Kakazu cannot stand on it especially if Kakazu is in his hard form.

His masks arent comparable to someone like Deva Path who is very agile and who can actually run

Maybe but for that you must be prepared for it, and if you are already trapped by the jutsu before, it won't work. He did it against Pain as well just before trapping them in his genjutsu and they had difficulties to escape(they didn't even manage til the genjutsu)

If Jiraiya can get to sage mode this is a laid back mid diff battle for him...here is the thing though Kakuzu is one of the best characters out there for pressuring Jiraiya so he CANT use Sage mode. He certainly has the tools that can pressure Jiraiya in his vulnerable state when he is going for Sage Mode so i dont know what happens there...but if he somehow makes it to sage mode gg.

As you know the song does not instantly take effect before putting the victim in a genjutsu, alot transpired in between when it started and when it ends, So one counter would to be

There's no doubt in my mind that the jutsu would make a noise loud enough to block out the frog song, Especially if its in an open area like where this location is

Another counter is for Kakuzu to simply get on the back of his wind heart and fly high enough so that the sound will not reach him (which is what happens when you are moving in the air)

The last would be that if he somehow did get caught, One of his hearts could simply kill Kakuzu taking away one of his hearts but negating Jiraiya's victory..Not to mention that Jiraiya would most likely kill kakuzu himself then allowing him to revive..

Can the wind heart carry Kakazu? I think Kakazu is really heavy and might not be able to be carried.

Well its made out of threads so it could carry Kakuzu seeing as he too is made of threads, hell he may even be able to attach to it

that shield does not cover his entire body and if he was to jmup, Kakuzu would yank him back down easily

this same scan can go towards Bogard, on how Kakuzu escape Jman's swamp. There are plenty of trees around to grab hold of and pull himself out
