Hidan was pressuring Kakashi the entire time. When Genjutsu happens, Super Clone Explosion blows Kakuzu to pieces. Domu won't be up in the first seconds of the fight.

Why? Because you don't want it to? Lol

lol hidan was taken by shikamaru and kakashi had his alone time with kakazu in fact he had support and kakazu was alone. And without intel how will itachi know that kakazu has five hearts and what guarantee is there that that explosion will kill all hearts? Assuming kakazu does fall for genjutsu. Itachi had to resort to MS against part 1 kakashi. We are talking about someone who is superior to part 2 3T kakashi. Even if itachi does get a lucky shot at genjutsu once, he won't know to kill all hearts and thus kakazu will win afterwards. Plus domu will be up too. Kakazu uses domu at the start of battle. So why won't it be up in the 1st place.

And 3T genjutsu is mostly irrelevant in these battles. It only works against stupid people with little to no chakra control namely naruto, deidara etc. Even naruto put in a good effort against 3T genjutsu and kakazu can control 5 chakra natures. Plus he is a smart character.
PS: i am an itachi fan so don't wanna debate this. So Ty

Are you saying you want to argue that base Kakuzu (no domu) is stronger than solid rock and can tank an FRS that created a massive crater in said solid rock?

What? Reread what I'm saying.

Yup he can say it because its canon

Kakuzu would fall to Genjutsu. His arsenal is too linear and easily avoidable via shunshin. Domu is rendered inaffective once Finger Genjutsu comes into play. Itachi goes for a quick kill, even if he has a five second interval before Kakuzu somehow breaks out of the Genjutsu.

You're missing my point. The damage that explosions cause in the manga are way too inconsistent to make that claim. I'm just letting you know that the reason Kakuzu wasn't shredded to pieces like the ground around him was because Kishi wanted him to have a final conversation with Kakashi.

He doesn't get that luxury here in the Battle forum.

Okay but to give Kakuzu the final conversation with Kakashi Kishi ultimately upped his durability, so its still a feat.

I've looked for this scan for so long....

Its not even that he "tanked" it per-say simply his unique anatomy was still functional after the blast and the slicing variant within the jutsu.

Kakuzu probably wins this. 3T Itachi has literally nothing in his arsenal capable of killing Kakuzu five times. His Genjutsu isn't going to work repeatedly. Just because finger genjutsu worked on Naruto who is a complete amateur in genjutsu doesn't mean that applies to everyone which is something Itachi fans assume a lot.

Remain in the Roleplay section; clearly your knowledge is rickety, if you firmly believe Kakuzu is superior to a III-Tomoe Itachi, and presume Itachi "lacks" the necessary tools to defeat his underling.

Blasphemy.

He is far superior to 3T Itachi and until you can give a reason to why Itachi wins that's how it remains.

There are several explanations regarding Kakuzu's downfall -- Either your ignorance stems from blind commentation upon a foreign subject you cannot comprehend, or through incoherent character bias; either way, I recommend reevaluating what's been said here in Itachi's favor.

Genjutsu depraves Kakuzu of a desperate win -- And it's not even close.

The volume of shade within this frivolous debate is absolutely contagious and I'm repulsed by the absence of evidence that's been involved in this pitiful bickering. Perhaps it is best that you both flee from this site and acknowledge that this pretentious demeanor you both have demonstrated will no doubt elicit revulsion from the audience.

Am I doing this right? Nah, probably not.
