Even with Chibaka Itachi solo's, cos he has Shi Sui's eye, and can just take control of God Pain and have him undo it. He and God Pain then wreck the remaining pains. Fight over. However with Pain not even having Chibaka Tensei... Itachi can solo them all, he's got the Yata Mirror and Susanoo to block the gravity attacks, and he can seal and ammy the others respectively (let alone genjutsu, which is awful against Nagato. Jiraiya's genjutsu was a bad match up against Nagato, because it paralysed the nerves of those who physically heard the song... meaning Nagato and his other bodies were fine. Itachi's causes psychic backlash, which means if Itachi uses it on any of the Pain's, all 6 and Nagato and the summons are affected in one go. Catastrophic for him).

Itachi didn't want to fight against someone from his own village for no reason. Notice how Kisame had trouble believing him.

Last time I am telling you, Itachi does not have Shisui's eye! It is in a crow in Naruto, or destroyed at this point. Itachi cannot KA anybody. He already used it on himself, and even if he did have the eye, it would take 10 years (I think) to use it again!

I know Kisame had trouble believing him, but that was just base Jiraiya. But Sage Mode Jiraiya + Shima + Fukakasu would be alot more powerful than just regular ol pervy Jiraiya.

So? Jiraiya still can't get past Susanoo, can't dodge Amaterasu, and he is still susceptible to Tsukuyomi, though having the Elders with him who can sense chakra will help him in that area.
