Is it just me, or is Kakashi the only person with a Sharingan who has completely copied a technique? Sasuke 'copied' Lee's speed, and the first bit of Primary Lotus (i think. not sure exactly which one it was), but those don't count as speed isn't a jutsu, and he didn't completely copy Primary Lotus. Kakashi has taken so many jutsu into his arsenal with his Sharingan, whereas no Uchiha has been shown to do that (if they could, would Itachi not have copied jutsu to make him an even MORE formiddible foe?). My theory is, true Uchiha's don't copy jutsu because that's cheap; it's sort of an honor thing, like traditional Japanese samurai. Uchiha must work if they want a new jutsu, but Kakashi doesn't. That seems cheap to me. The only jutsu Kakashi worked for was Chidori (if you count raising dogs as hard work, than his summoning as well), and then he just took a thousand jutsu. I'm not a Kakashi hater, I just think there's a reason no actual Uchiha just copies a thousand jutsu and calls it good, and Kakashi just abuses his Sharingan (there, I said it!). Don't hate, I'm just saying, 'Copy Ninja Kakashi' is a bit cheap, and it get's cheaper when no other Sharingan user does that.

What you call cheap I call smart. In war would you use everything you could or not? Also we don't know if any other sharingan users did this since we mainly only saw 4 including him. They would copy jutsus I bet to make themselves stronger which is a big thing. He's just using his head when he copies them because then he is more likely to kill, capture, or escape from something.

hmm i must disagree but i respect your opinion, i think kakashi just wants to use his sharingan to its full potential in honor of obito, not that its cheap, copying the jutsu that kakashi does i think its highly effective, but i respect your opinion none the less

What about Sasuke copying the Chidori? Sure it was taught to him but that counts to.

if sasuke had to train in it, he didn't fully copy it, and therefore, i don't count it.

@Haven that's a good point. using his Sharingan to it's full potential in honor of Obito would be a good reason to do what he does, even if it may not be what's practiced within the Uchiha clan.

@Dwarf we've only seen four including him, yes. but if it were normal for Uchiha to copy every jutsu they saw, we would've seen one of the other's doing that, and we don't. it's just an opinion, and if you disagree, that's your opinion

and now that i think about it, maybe the creator wanted to have a character who used sharingan differently so the viewers can witness different powers of the sharingan, but maybe im wrong

Kakashi is just using the sharingan to its full potential.
And if i dont recall Sasuke copied the Chidori in order to complete it in the least amount of time.
I believe Itachi copied kisames Water clone I may be wrong though).
And just because kakashi copies most of his jutsus doesnt mean he knew how to do them right after seeing them he still had to train in its usage.

And im sure Sasuke and Itachi would have copied jutsu if they had as many Elements as kakashi does.
Sasuke and Itachi do not need to copy fire techs because their clan and their village specialize in that nature type.
Sasuke does not need to copy lightning techs because kakashi taught him alot so he just spends time experimenting on how to make it better.
Im sure within all the time Itachi spent with Kisame he copied alot of justu from him besides the water clone jutsus.

I've actually thought about this before and yeah, I think you're right maybe it is about honour. And to be honest, I agree..All Kakashi does is abuse his sharingan.

Not a huge Kakashi fan but I don´t think that he abuses the sharingan. He uses it the best way possible and that heightened his reputation. Itachi became a wanted criminal so the less noise he made the better. Saskes strongest jutsu was aquired from Kakashi. The rest were taught by Orochimaru, a shinobi who collected the strongest jutsu. I think its more that they didn´t see the need to copy or use additional jutsus then the ones they already have. Imma state Itachi was invincible with the ones he had just cus he was.

Oh yeah and I'm sure Sasuke copied some of the techniques Orochimaru taught him in order to learn them faster.

most of sasuke's moves arent completely original just modified. his lion barrages was just a move he thought up on the fly after copying dancing leaf shadow. he couldnt use the lotus because he didnt copy what lee did after and didnt have the speed for it. also most of his jutsu seem to be based of the chidori so he took a move he copied and modified it. i dont think kakashi abuses the sharingan just utilizes it to his advantage and made a name for himself with it

Ok Kakasshi uses his sharingan like this mostly because he is a non uchiha, and unlike them, who can just spam the regular sharingan, Kakashi can't, so when he actually uses it he has to do it to its full potential.
And just because you copied the jutsu, doesn't mean that you can automatically use it, not if you're body can't handle that jutsu, so he still had to train in order to master them.
Oh and as to why don't all uchihas use it like this (the one we have seen) is because they are cocky, or they actually don't need it.
Oh and i really liked the whole respect for Obito part. xd

ok heres my 2 cents
Kakashi is not uchiha so he will never be able to use his sharingan to its"full potential" he has a weak sharingan compared to Itachi,madara,saskue. it only has a few abilitys that he can use. so why would itachi or who ever use a weaker part of there eye when they can use its full power and just kill you off quickly or lock you inside your own brain. look back when saskue first got his eye all he could do is follow movements and copy techniques just like kakashi now that sasuke has matured and so has his eye now he can do more with it.
so what im trying to say is the uchiha dont copy techniques not becouse of honor but becouse they just dont need to anymore.

what do u mean by abuse?its a sharingan capablity and besides, maybe we dont see it a lot but even itachi use it,,remember his fight with kurenai?and i dont think he just copy techniques,,although its not clear how but i think he train very hard to activate ms

If I remember correctly, Itachi used some water techniques in the series. His clan is fire-based, so it is highly unlikely that he didn't copy that jutsu. Obito gave Kakashi a gift, and he at least has talent to use it. No other person would have been able to use the sharingan like Kakashi has, and utilize it well. I give Kakashi props for doing a DECENT job of using the sharingan.

You also have to remember, he is not Uchiha so he doesn't have as much power or as much chakra as the Uchiha's do.

If it was a gift from your very best friend, would you put it to waste or use it to save your village and people you care about?

i believe that even if all uchihas are able to decrypt jutsus with their sharingan, they can't automatically perform these as they are restricted by their element affinities and by the additional trainings required to master these copied jutsus... kakashi on the other hand is a genius who has a lot of rigorous training behind him and more element affinities than anyone can handle, so a regular uchiha doesn't compare to him...

that is what made copying easier for him and at some point in time he spammed this capacity as much as any uchiha would spam their sharingan... this also works out best for him as this is one of the primary ability of the sharingan which cost only few chakra, and by doing this he obtains an arsenal of non-sharingan jutsus which he can handle easier in combat as they do not cost as much chakra as advanced sharingan powers would, therefore he again saves on chakra, knowing that stamina is his only weakness...

conclusion: based of my above theory, i say that he has been using the sharingan in a way that only he can and for wise reasons, so i wouldn't call that cheap
