You're here saying he's a great villian for tricking obito but bz who is as flat as cardboard did the same to him.

He didn't form the akatsuki.
He didn't have anything to do with the massacre (what shaped sasuke life)
or the 9 tails accident (what shaped naruto's life)
he had nothing to do with the akatsuki's actions,(which brought the world into the 4th world war)
he had no direct or indirect influence on either main. So yeah. He didn't set anything in motion.

Not to mention oro as well was apart of his organization.

funny thing is when madara tried to use bz to control obito obito broke both bz and madara's control and became jin anyways(while he was at his weakest mind you). When Obito struggled to control kaguya/tentails he over came it.

Honestly if it wasn't 4 bz he'd have a point. By being the Chessmaster madara would have played everyone, thus having fulfillment to his character. But madara isn't the chestmaster. He was just another pawn. And unlike all the other pawns(nagato, obito, sasuke for a lil) he didn't do anything other than play chessboard.

Atleast obito can say I did xyz and shaped naruto's and sasuke's life.

Meeting Harogomo was pointless since naruto was aware of the indra/ashura connection(an unnecessary concept might I add) b4 meeting him, and the old toad sage already told noodles the prophesy. Sasuke received hashirama chakra(asura chakra) thus awakening Harogomo chakra.
