Kakashi is my favorite character as well. He inspired me growing up, is wise, has epic hair, a mysterious face, charisma, expertise in all shinobi fields, a jutsu inventor, a war hero, the best sensei, is hilarious, late like me, loves dogs like me, reads porn, and takes after his friend Obito by aiding his community and following the ideal of never leaving comrades behind.

Confused about what? Not sure if you've been reading but after he heared the truth about Itachi,and the Uchiha massacre + their history,he went to the people behind the massacre,Danzo,Itachi,and Hurizen and confirmed the truth,he also learned the answers to everything he had questions for.

What is a Village,what are Shinobi,etc.He heared the the story of Hashirama,Madara,Uchiha,and Senju from Hashirama himself,and spoke to each of the four Kages on things.Additionally he learned the history of the Shijobi world,Indra,Ashura,The Sage,The Juubi,The Shinju and Kaguya from the Sage himself,and futhermore he went on a journey and explored the world.An a recent interview Masashi said,"Sasuke has gone out into the world to find the answers to all of the unanswered questions. For example, who and what was Kaguya exactly? Sasuke wants to find out how her plan for revival was executed the first time around so it could be avoided in the future."
