Guys, do you remember when he was practising to get better Rasengan jutsu with Yamato and Naruto ? I don't remember, but I think Kakashi sensej didn't even use his sharingan to do a Rasengan. So he knows 1000techniques, but the question is can he make that techniques without sharingan ?

I believe everyone is misunderstanding the OP. He hasn't implied that Kakashi has forgotten their use, he is alluding to their mastery, which Kakashi has never shown or implied. Take Sasuke's example, he copied Lee's speed but it took him a some time to gain mastery over it and the ensuing ability Chidori. This proves that copying does give you the ability to use an ability, but it doesn't, by default, put you in a master's seat.

When he copies with Sharingan, he uses it once. It doesn't mean he remembers it forever. Think about it. How many hand signs did he have to copy from Zabuza to execute Water Wave. There were like a hundred handsigns.

Orochimaru has mastered many techniques in 50 years, but people say Kakashi mastered 1000 in 30? lol

That is why people are arguing that Kakashi hasn't forgotten any of them.

it takes about 40 hand signs for the water dragon jutsu, and kakashi is not stupid, he is a considerable genious, he wouldnt just forget, you are just wack.

No one can memorize instantly. They would actually have to practice it.

And how are there shinobi who are able to do the same jutsu with less than 5 hand signs? I'll tell you this was made just to make Kakashi look more powerful! The same goes for Raikiri, he needed hand signs in the Original series but in the Shippuden series he uses it without hand signs.

Oh god this thread gave me cancer.
One of the sharingan abilities is to instantly copy and memorize ninjutsu,taijutsu and genjutsu techniques.Of course one has to be skilled enough to be able to use the techniques he copies.
Kakashi has been a jonin since 13 he went on countless missions so he was able to copy 1000.
He can manipulate 4 out of 5 basic elements.
Has shown to have great knowledge and speed in seals execution
Of course we will never get to see the 1000 jutsus cause Kishi would need to make 100 chapters to Kakashi alone (fine by me )
But Kakashi copied,memorized and can use 1000.Not at the same time cause he doesn't have the stamina but that doesn't change the fact that he has them on his arsenal.

You'd have a point but only original technique is raikiri. That means he copied everything else.
