When the sharingan copy's a techniques, it stores it within their memory, which means they only have to see it ones and they can perform it again...
ummm no. You have no proof of this. No human cannot memorize the 50 hand signs that is used for Water Dragon instantly. Even with Sharingan. Thus why he hasn't used it since.

I would understand Kirigakure no Jutsu because it's only one hand sign, but 1000 jutsu is much too overwhelming.
Ask and you shall receive. Here is proof backing up YellowFlash's claim.
You must be registered for see images

The panel clearly states the sharingan records jutsu it observes. This indicates they would be able to play it back and their mind and replicate.

why would you argue with the manga itselfe for???the manga sais kakashi learned 1000 justsus and your still saying no..lolz..and whats so hard about mastering justus like waterclone or rasengan or even chidori hes an expert in all those ..stop underestimating kakashi..and just go by the manga ...Uchiha Inza..i mean if i had a sharingan it wouldnt have to master those just be really good with them..Naruto mastered rasengan more than Minato and Jiraiya..but does that mean that minato or jiraiyas is not strong ???no ...Uchiha Inza

Are you f*cking dumb? If he copies a jutsu he's able to use it forever. How else do you think he was still able to use the water dragon technique on Naruto and Sakura during the 2nd bell training test. He learned that move from Zabuza. Thread destroyed :sy:

His nickname is Copy Ninja Hatake Kakashi, not Kakashi of 1000 jutsu.

Like I said before, the definition of copy and mastering are different.
stop, just stop with this bs. if he copies a jutsu successfully, doesnt that technically means he mastered it. His nickname doesnt have to precisely say "Copy and Master Ninja". This thread is big fail bro

Kishi said he COPIED. Not MASTERED. The definitions of those 2 words are completely different.

Copying =/= Mastering

It's just like taking a test. You can copy the person next to you, but does that mean you mastered that subject? No

When he copies with Sharingan, he uses it once. It doesn't mean he remembers it forever. Think about it. How many hand signs did he have to copy from Zabuza to execute Water Wave. There were like a hundred handsigns.

Orochimaru has mastered many techniques in 50 years, but people say Kakashi mastered 1000 in 30? lol

Those of you giving examples using realistic situations should know that narutoverse is an imaginary world. And Kakashi has used a lot of jutsus which he copied like that zabuza mist thingy when he fought itachi, various suiton techniques when he fought kisame, and i think kakashi is usualy underestimated.

The premise of copying 1000 jutsu also implies that he knows them as well. In no way was it ever stated that he was a master at all of his copied jutsu, that would have been evident up to this point already.

Your assumption that Kakashi has mastered the 1000 jutsu is self implied. Nowhere in the series was it ever stated that Kakashi was a master of ninjutsu.

I believe everyone is misunderstanding the OP. He hasn't implied that Kakashi has forgotten their use, he is alluding to their mastery, which Kakashi has never shown or implied. Take Sasuke's example, he copied Lee's speed but it took him a some time to gain mastery over it and the ensuing ability Chidori. This proves that copying does give you the ability to use an ability, but it doesn't, by default, put you in a master's seat.

kakashi cant use all 1000 jutsu in a fight bcos of his chakra level and having many jutsu doesnt mean they are powerful enough or can work on every opponent and i dnt think he has more than 5 high level jutsu in is arsenal

If he know one thousand Jutsu, he know them. It just depends on the opponent he faces and the Chakra level he's at during the battle to be able to utilize the thousands of jutsu's he has. The only thing he uses most often is that Chidori and that itself consumes a lot of Chakra

Yeah, the words are different, but that doesn't mean anything in this 'fictional' universe.

According to the Sharingan's first explination, the Sharingan user is able to fully master the techniques he copies.
