Gaara sands automatically protects him and kakashi dont carry a case of water so he cant do that suiton dragon. Gaara flys kakashi has no jutsu that will reach him.

I'm not saying Gaara can't fly. I'm saying that to fight at his best, he must stay on the ground to be able to use the environment at his max. Also Kakashi not capable to catch Gaara when he flys? Forgetting about Kamui? :shrug:
Also i'm telling you that Kakashi doesn't need source of water to cast suiton jutsus.

Gaara carries a lot of special sand and can clearly produce a large amount of sand within a very small amount of time. Using the minerals underground.

Kakashi can use Suiton without a water source but he can only use small suiton tech's without a water source.

either way...Gaara is far too strong for Kakashi. Gaara is the antagonist to Naruto and as such is always going to be one of the strongest characters.

To fight at his best he can do both fly on his sand and just make a sand tsunami whats kumai goin to do but suck up alot ot sand. You telling me kakashi dont need a source of water to summon suiton but you not showing me any manga pics.

I believe Gaara is far stronger than Kakashi because he is referred to as the Golden Kage,a genius,was able to control Shukaku at age 12,is stronger than Shukaku now,is fighting Madara along with the other Kage, has beaten 2 Kage in this war, and helped seal half of Muu.

Kakashi wins in many of the threads because there are many people like you around.

I say it alot like madara, 1st through 4th hokages. (I am not saying they are equaly strong) what i'm saying is, we do not have enough info on all his tecs and abilitys to make a clear judgement. but thats just my opinion.

WTH! In the contrary, it's because he didn't control Shukaku at all that he couldn't even sleep calmly.xd That's the reason why his father even wanted to kill him. Just because he couldn't control Shukaku and that when Shukaku could emerge from his body and could be dangerous for the village. Shukaku, who is even the weakest from all Bijuus. If he slept, the Shukaku could be outside easily.

And yes he beat 2Kages but in which conditions? His father went on his own. Against Mizukage? Mizukage helped him several times to defeat him and he was not even alone. He had a team on his side only against one man. He told him that he was in a genjutsu. If it was a real fight and that Mizukage didn't tell him before, Gaara would not even try to get through it. Even during the genjutsu, Mizukage never tried once to kill them when he could. Tsuchikage is the one who destroyed the claim. And a sensor is the one who helped Gaara to know where the real Mizukage was during the jockey boy. I acknowlege Gaara is strong, but he never defeated someone on his own since Lee in part1.

Kakashi defeated Zabuza and Haku, Kisames master and probably other swordsmen(but we don't know about it, so i leave it like that), fighting against several Bijuus where he even thought he could kamui 5/6Bijuu balls, and fighting along with Naruto, Gai and Bee the final boss of this manga.

I am making this thread to see why people are over-rating Kakashi so much. Please give reasons as to why you think Kakashi could hang with some of the toughest and why he can win in some cases.

1: Kakashi cannot beat Itachi-Kishi cleared that one.
2: Kakashi's Kamui has not beaten/killed anyone, so saying that he can just one shot someone is never enough of a reason to say he wins.
3: I have heard people say that Kakashi is much stronger than we have seen and base these theories on nothing.

Use evidence to back up arguments and stop being fanboys!! Kakashi is a great character with some great moves but stop making him limitless. His limits have been set and stated and he is never gonna be the strongest.

Making my point:

This is from Madromanof on Page 2: Kakashi can fight one on one with almost all akatsuki members and kill them except itachi and nagato. You see after witnessing sasuke use all ms techs made me think even kakashi can kill him. This isnt a joke kakashis arsenal is big enough to surprise us. To keep up with itachi evem for a little aint easy feat. While itachi is fighting to kill.

This from Bogard: Current kages are weak. Kakashi can beat all of them except Raikage and Onoki from my point of vue. But saying that he can beat Hashirama is ridiculous.

he is overrated because he was hailed as the genius of his generation and is apparently konohas ninjustu sepcialist yet we havent seen many jutsu from him.

add to the fact he hasnt really beaten anyone since zabuza and u get overrated.

He used the water source from the suiton suijinheki he did earlier to cast this jutsu. And Kakashi can also do that. Like i've said they have the same jutsus.

But why do you say he can't? That's my problem. Kakashi has shown he can do suiton suijinheki without water source. Kakashi and 2nd Hokage have the same jutsus and they have at least the same size. All the suiton jutsus that 2nd Hokage has shown, Kakashi has already shown it too. Suiton suijinheki, suiton suiryudan, Kakashi can also do that, and he has shown even other more.
