im not sure about that .. Kakashi's taijutsu even with precog is most likely not as good as Drunk lee's .. who Kimi was avoiding pretty well...Not to mention Kimi's regenerative prowess could heal from a raikiri that was not in a vital spot

Of course it sounds stupid when you think about Jirobo ever pulling that out but I am taking this into consideration for that fact that this is a team effort thats in play here. Battling in the forest plays a big role in this match up. In fact the location is the reason why I give the Sound this victory. Their base strategy is base on location. Open field will be a big problem.

Now you might say that Gai>Kiba and Choji Duo attack and I agree but you need to take into consideration that they use their most powerful attack plus, chakra boosters to neglect that chakra eater to conflict with their attack as Guy is only going to rely on his Brunt Strength. With lack of knowledge of the tech and restrictions giving its unlikely to claim he simply defeats the Dome with one punch.
Kakashi's sharingan will allow him to predict what is coming and yes use raikiri to slice through them with 0 difficulty. You'll also have an extremely hard time convincing me Gai doesn't just use his strength(his base strength, even) to break free from them.
Again I'm merely speaking in Teamwork as to catch them off guard in the forest then of them to try to "spray" their attacking hoping their chances will be right. You said it yourself by providing manga scans. "They kept their distance against Kakashi when trying to get Sasuke so their strategy is to play keep away and the forest helps them a lot. So yes if Kakashi sees this attack incoming no doubt that he will dodged but then again it does have a wide range to catch opponents too:

Shikimaru had the right jutsu to counter the Sound. The effects of Sound Genjutsu is completely different then what you post. The Sound is completely different level too as the other Genjutsu is useful against weak minded people. Sakura was able to get out of that one. The fact the this jutsu is a paralysis, using that Kai method is unlikely to work that way. Kakashi seeing through genjutsu is one but that doesn't grant him the automatic method to break it with normal "Kai" method.
No knowledge on it being Genjutsu plays a part too
