(Toppyoushimonai Okane) - Crazy monkey
Perform it:
Dean starts off by charging some chakra in his lower legs and feet, as he dashes towards his opponent. Upon reaching somewhat close range level, Dean steps hard onto the ground and jumps up, bringing his legs upwards whilst still maintaining his forward momentum. As he gets even closer, he releases both his legs towards the chest of his opponent, with great force and power. Thanks to the speed at which he was running, combined with the chakra focused into his lower legs and feet, Dean hits the opponent with great force. This pushes the opponent back with great power, causing some blunt damage.
Pros:
The technique is fairly simple to perform, as with most Taijutsu techniques. Its enhanced with chakra, making it a bit more powerful than a normal free form hit.
Cons:
The technique can only be initiated within short range, meaning you won't gain that much speed with such a small distance, unless you have some form of enhancement. The technique is performed when your body is basically in mid air, meaning the opponent is capable of dodging it simply by moving his own body out of the way, and it also leaves your body open for counters. The linear movement of the technique also makes it a disadvantage.
(Akurobachikku Sanjuu Rakka Ashige) - Acrobatic triple drop Kick
Perform it:
Dean dashes towards his opponent, as he charges his chakra into his legs, making them more deadly. Being close enough, Dean jumps upwards, whilst simultaneously performing a somersault in a way, that a Jedi would be jealous of. As Dean's body spins forward, he gains momentum due to basic Physics and his speed. As he comes down upon the opponent, Dean delivers two blows to the shoulders of the opponent, and a last one aimed at the head of the opponent. The chakra charged legs would cause more damage, and probably cause the opponent to collapse due to the combinations.
Pros:
The technique delivers three blows, all aimed at points that would greatly injure the opponent. The technique is also quite fast, and of course, enhanced with chakra.
Cons:
Performing a forward somersault towards your opponent isn't always a good idea, especially if they have enhanced reactions/Doujutsu. Not only does it leave your body completely open, but especially your back. Most opponents would use this chance to attack, leaving you no way to actually see the technique come towards you.
(Kyuuki Ashige) - Crane Kick
Perform it:
Dean stands with his arms parallel to the ground, and his right leg towards his body, a stance dubbed, the crane. As he does so, he waits for his opponent to run towards him, and as he gets close enough, Dean pushes his body into the air, by using his left leg. This propels his whole body upwards, whilst he simultaneously keeps his body in the same position, the crane. As Dean does so, he charges his chakra into his right leg. Then, with the very same right leg, Dean kicks the opponent, releasing all its power towards the opponent. The kick is aimed to hit the opponent in the face. The power of the technique is combined with the speed of which the opponent is travelling towards Dean. This blasts the opponent back with great force.
Pros:
A bit different from the usual techniques, this one does not require you to run towards the opponent, but rather wait for the prime moment to use it. The kick is also aimed at the opponent's face/head, which usually also causes a lot of damage. Plus the extra chakra for damage.
Cons:
The crane stance must be a bit awkward at first, and you are standing on one leg, which makes it even easier to disrupt said stance. Also, when you jump up, the opponent can then easily use Drunken Fist to sway out of the way, and punch the groins of the user. The one kick aimed towards the head of the opponent can also be grabbed, and be used to swing the opponent away.
Questions:
How is this technique Short to Mid range? How does Mid range work for this? .-. Other than that, no questions on anything else.
