If Byakugan relies on chakra,then why do people say Kaguya had it before she ate the God Fruit? Was this confirmed somewhere in the Manga?

I've seen it stated as fact in many threads and they say that she only got the Sharingan and Rennegan from the fruit...just checking if i missed something...

I don't remember them stating that she had it before eating the fruit. The byakugan is one of the three great eye techniques and requires chackra to activate meaning she couldn't have it without having chakra first.

but the ability to see through objects and 360 vision, is chakra activated, and chakra did not exist until she ate the fruit. Eyes without the pupils is not the Byakugan, it's the Byakugan once it is activated. That just might be how her eyes where before they obtained the power that made eyes like that, a Byakugan. Right?

I don't know, maybe the tomoes mean the influence of the fruiton her body... But I really don't know. Maybe the tomoes represents petals. Or something else.
