Umm thanks for giving me the links to the movies but you didn't give me the source where he said it. What "notes from the author"?

Every Naruto volume has a notes from the author in the beginning where Kishimoto says something about his current life. It's in my Viz books so I'd have to take a picture with my phone, upload it to photobucket, then go to photobucket on my cpu and post it here which would be a pain.

She didn't know ninjutsu because that was invented by Hagaromo, she was limited to manipulating the elements in her dimensions, using dojutsu, and weaponizing her bones.

I agree she didn't know ninjutsu but she made a TSB out of chakra.. and it's made of all elements, she also used Hyuuga's vacuum palm, used chakra arms, absorbed ninjutsu and the bone KKG is a jutsu as well. She can do all those but she can't turn her chakra into nature..

I don't think she's shit though, if Kishi saved her for another arc she could have been further developed. Maybe she wouldn't have been a brainless shinobi unable to use Hyuuga jutsu and cast hundreds of Indra arrows.. :hmm:

well yeah, she doesn't know how to turn her chakra into a nature, she doesn't know so that's just how it is. I have a question though, how come Sasuke used to have to do hand signs to do chidori but then suddenly didn't?

Kaguya was a Geisha in the legend, Geisha's don't show emotion, don't smile, are supposed to be very dignified and dainty. Thus Kaguya was like that while Zetsu did most of the talking for her. Also she was being manipulated by the Shinjuu to be evil, so her motivations were not hers rather those of a parasitic demon tree created by the spilt blood of war and hatred.

Then you have stuff like I posted in the OP that confirms he had been planning Kaguya for a while, after all Kaguya came from the moon in the story and so did the Gedou Mazou.

The better they get with chakra control the less hand seals they need. Some jutsu eventually don't need hand seals if you're skillfull enough and others will always need hand seals like fireball jutsu.

He also said in something else that "him and his editor have decided the rest of the story" or something, but I forgot what that was in, you'll just have to take my word for that.

Kishi chose to make his character bland, unemotional and uninteresting. This doesn't excuse why Kaguya is such a bad character, it just means Kishi should have either went a different route with his Geisha-based character, or based Kaguya on something else and made her a good character.

It baffles me that Kishimoto planned for Kaguya, and still managed to make her one of the least impactfull villains. There was so much potential. How did he screw up?! I'd guess he had some sort of deadline to finish the manga, which resulted in it being rushed or something.

how would you have made her? I think the ending was rushed based on a few things, the war arc had already gone on far longer than he expected because like he said "the characters didn't let him or the reality would be lost" so he decided to end it on chapter 700, which is a good landmark number. Also they were pushing for the Last and had already started advertising it, I don't know the behind the scenes reasons for this he could have okayed it previously, but really the war was so long at that point giving Kaguya and Sasuke their own arcs would be overkill.

They still do Em it's just off panel. Not only that but as Rikudo said, they become more skilled. When Sasuke fought Bee he did the seal once and never had to again. One can assume that the more skilled users do the seal one time during a fight and can constantly activate it as often as they want

Are you serious? lol That picture is from Ghibli's movie "The Tale of Princess Kaguya," in which I'm sure they took some artistic liberties concerning the tale. That picture doesn't really hold any weight, to be honest.
